First up, I cannot commend the staff at Cgars highly enough, orders have always been delivered promptly and arrive in perfect condition. This box was delivered by hand!
What a wonderful smoke the Upmann Half Corona is! Mild but complex enough to keep you entertained, beautiful construction, quality is always spot on. They can be smoked all the way down to the shortest stub without becoming bitter. Consistent flavour all the way through the stick.
Perfect for a summer afternoon before dinner.

My new summer cigar. Very enjoyable hours smoke. Good volume of smoke from the
off. Mild to start with sweet aftertaste. Flavour developed throughout but never
became overpowering or harsh.
Even burn, held two inches of white ash. One relight at halfway but that was my fault for talking too much.
Paired with a bottle of Hobgoblin Gold on a sunny afternoon.
Mild enough for a novice and yet plenty of spice for old hands. On my shopping list for the future. Recommended.

Iv just been smoking this stick and to be fair its actually been very enjoyable good construction burned beautifully held its ash very well tasted of earthy flavours with a touch of salt to start with then I could taste a touch of leather with hints of spice in the final third all in all just a great stick at a great price one I will be buying again I just think next time it will need more time in my humidor just to bring out more flavour which I know it holds , I got a good hour out of it

If you like Montecristo No.4 then you will probably love these. Fabulous flavour and excellent construction.

Amazing with age making perfect, but they never survive… When young the sweet awaiting damson black fruit jam, with pediment woody earthiness and its own Cuban spices takes you away, but never over powers with a light to medium smoke… Although the beginning may seem a little boring, thats only because its new, any tightness of draw also goes after a few years too… use the perfect draw if you need to… This like its big brother is good, but great if youre able to keep it for ten years, when the flavours are really able to mature into crafted perfection… A Cuban cigar is a luxury and should be enjoyed slowly to permit the flavours to develop and evolve without the rush of the world intruding into the created sublime…
NB: Always make sure that youre buying the long fillers and not the cheaper veriant as theyre not the same at all... C.gars only sell the real thing so youre safe here...

A very pleasant surprise, I had brought this cigar, to round up the price of an order and had left it in the humidor for six months. I found that my example, was well made, burnt well and even. The draw was perfect. Light to medium in taste. held its ash well, which was light grey to white. The very first draw was slightly bitter, but soon settled down to creamy/ sweet. Only becoming slightly bitter at the end, lasting just over an hour. From reading some of the other reviews, it would seem, that there could be consistency problems, due to the variance of experience. However you should bear in mind that you are buying a cigar that is between half to One Tenth of the price of most cigars of the same vitola.
