Peppery at first but does settle down as the other review mentioned. A rewarding and complex smoke. Perfect draw and burn. Lasts half an hour at least.

As a well seasoned cigar smoker who is not particularly fussy, I have never failed to finish a cigar in its entirety...until today.
This cigar is terrible beyond words.
A smoke worthy of nightmares.
There are much better new world cigars within this price range that are significantly superior in quality.
The taste is poor to say the least. Moreover, the build quality is below standard and the scent was most unpleasant.
After a lovely meal, the overall experience was incredibly disappointing.
Please think twice and do some research before putting this one in your basket. C.Gars has much better to offer than this.
If possible, I would have scored it a zero.

My favourite Plasencia of the four different types Ive tried so far. Beautiful looking with a dark oily wrapper and nicely boxed pressed. Really lovely flavours - sweet and nutty. Burned perfectly and slowly. I really didnt want this one to end. I might try a box of these next.

My first of these and, I would have to say, very enjoyable. I was over zealous with both the cut and the lighting, it only needs a little snip and next time I will try just lighting the little tip. A very easy draw and I would say a typically Cuban flavour, if you know what I mean. Lots of smoke, I usually double puff most cigars to fully appreciate the flavour, no need to with this one; even after it’s been put down for a rest. Really enjoyed the first third; definitely full flavoured due to the full flavour of the wrapper, no doubt, but nice with it. I do like strong flavours. Into 2nd third and, I would say, cooler and creamier but I’m never sure whether it’s just my palate becoming familiar with the flavour. Into final third, still mild and creamy to my old taste buds, although flavour started to change to a little harsher, still enjoyable. Last inch it became a little too harsh, even for me. Not really a fan of the end of the cigar, but that might be because I ran out of cognac!
Shame it’s not a little cheaper, is my only personal gripe; if it was I would buy a lot more. Overal

I tried this one with my last order , uneven burn and you can feel how cheap it is when you smoke , it got better at the end of it but it is 3/5 stars tops for me.
