LCDH Hoyo de Monterrey Elegantes Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 13 August, 2018
I bought a couple of these in Shepherd Market and left them in one of my humidors amd forgot all about them. A few months later I took one to my club and smoked it on the terrace. A slight bore to get going, but it burned besutifully and opened out very well indeed. A perfect afternoon smoke.

Inka Secret Blend Red Tres Petit Corona - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 04 February, 2020
This is my first cigar and I have just finished smoking it Im writing this in the hope of helping newbies like me. Not an unpleasant experience at all. Enjoyed with a warming glass of branding on a fresh Febuary evening, the draw was perfect with a steady even burn throughout. I wont pretend I know what Im looking for or tasting but the first third was a nice introduction into cigars with the 2nd third really developing well. The taste changed and was pleasing to the pallete. The last third started to get a little overpowering and by the time I had reached the band area I was done. For the price Im not disappointed. I have bought a different (slightly more expensive) stick to try at the weekend to see if im interested in continuing with cigars. This is certainly not a bad introduction for sure.

Manitou Virginia Gold Additive Free Hand Rolling Tobacco 30g Pouch
Date Added: Monday 03 February, 2020
Additive free rolling tobacco has really gained popularity lately. The big players have always been American Spirit and Pueblo, but recently a third brand has entered the ring: Manitou. You might be aware that there have been supply issues with Pueblo Blue, so many of our customers have been trying out Manitou as an alternative any a lot of them have said it’s equally good (if not better!) Light gold in colour with a delicate crisp, clean and slightly sweet taste, it’s well worth giving a try if you like additive free rolling tobacco.

American Blends V Blend (Formerly Vanilla) Pipe Tobacco (Loose)
Date Added: Monday 03 February, 2020
American Blends CV (Cherry & Vanilla) has been one of our best-selling flavoured pipe tobaccos in Chester for as long as I can remember. This blend is the exact same Vanilla flavour, minus the cherry. Somehow, the removal of the cherry reveals a lot of extra layers to the vanilla flavour, such as Bourbon and Caramel. The tobacco – a mix of Black Cavendish and Virginia – is pleasant enough, but it isn’t really the focal point here; as an American style mixture, the casing is the star of the show and you won’t taste the tobacco prominently.

Peterson Luxury Blend Pipe Tobacco 50g Tin
Date Added: Monday 03 February, 2020
Peterson pipe tobaccos are often more known for their more traditional, British style tobacco blends, such as University Flake and Irish Flake, even more so since they picked up the old Dunhill mixtures. However, they are equally talented when it comes to flavoured blends. Luxury Blend is a great example of this, with Orange Virginias, sweet Black Cavendish and Burley, topped with a vanilla and honey casing. Personally, I also detect a slight hint of citrus fruit. When smoked, it is subtly sweet, without being sickly. A very nice balance.
