Mitchellero Torcedor Cigar - 1 Single

I had high hopes for the Mitchellero Torcedor, thinking it might become my new everyday smoke. I took it out of my cedar humidor about six hours before lighting up and it burned beautifully, lasted the perfect amount of time as advertised and started off really nicely. The first half was smooth, rich, and full of flavour, but by the second half it turned a bit too spicy and peppery for my personal taste.
It’s still a very good cigar for the price, and I can see why people enjoy it. I’ve got another one resting in the humidor and plan to try it again soon to see if it was just this particular stick. For now, I’d call it a solid effort, but my favourite from the Mitchellero range is still the Robusto, that one’s tough to beat.

Very mild almost no flavour possibly due to extremely tight draw. Rolling the cigar opened up the draw a little but was still tight. Took a lot of touching up to try and keep the cigar burning evenly. I didn’t notice any flavour development from the first third to the end. There was a nice sweetness to the wrapper but for the price it left a lot to be desired and generally dissatisfying. A shame for my first time venturing outside of NW cigars.

I had high hopes for this one, but it left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. The flavour that did come through was nice enough, smooth and a touch nutty, but overall it just didn’t grab me like I’d expected. Maybe it’s my still developing palate, or maybe I just got a dud, but it didn’t live up to the hype for me.
The draw was tight from the start, and even after using a cigar drill it never really opened up properly, which made the whole experience a bit of a struggle. I wouldn’t say it was awful, just disappointing. If someone offered me another, I’d give it a go in case this one was a bad example, but as it stands, I likely wouldn’t buy it again.

Great beginner smoke.
It felt consistently packed throughout and burned straight as an arrow. Initial scent out of the box was very mild and upon lighting the flavour followed suit.
Draw was easy and the smoke was thick and creamy. Would make a fantastic cigar for someone unsure about them as the length is much less daunting than a full size Churchill. The ring gauge provides the feel and experience of a larger cigar without the pressure to finish it if you decide it isn’t for you. The aftertaste wasn’t overwhelming and didn’t linger for too long either. I didn’t notice any change in flavour throughout the cigar which was a little disappointing personally.
Overall, I will definitely be keeping a few of these in the humidor for those friends and family that are unsure where to start.

These are fantastic for cleaning the mouthpiece and tank of my eliquid mod. I've used these for years as they are the perfectly sized fit having a taper which cleans well. With regular smoking going the way of the dinosaurs, I wonder how long we'll be able to get these.

Sadly too flimsy to be of much use. Do not appear to have a thinner end so with most pipes it is impossible to insert them through the mouthpiece. They do co clean but gently as the slightest pressure causes them to buckle.
