Charatan Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

Not great. The cap was broken and the wrapper also began to crack and come apart. Tried to nurse it through to smoke which was OK but couldnt really get a decent draw on it. Overall disappointed and wouldnt buy again if this was a yardstick of their quality.

This is my honest review, i bought 2 of these due to the 5* review on here.
The draw was so tight for the first half on both to the point i nearly bin them.
The taste was spot on, I had mine with a hot chocolate my mouth was in heaven.
After taste in my opinion the worst part. It tastes like local anesthetic reminded me of being at the dentist and that the last thing I want to think about when smoking.
The burn felt of.

Perfect for a special occasion. Delicious, rich flavours throughout. Sweet, oak fruitiness you start which develops gradually into a crescendo of leather and...burnt rubber? But a nice burnt rubber. Build wasn’t flawless but I can’t fault that too much.

As a fan of Plasencia i had high hopes for this blend but i found it unsatisfying and relatively bland... at least when compared to other cigars made by Plasencia. Construction and draw are top notch as i expected... though it burns notably fast.

Sampled two of these and both seemed to have a tight draw which ruined what i think could of been a great smoke. In spite of that did i enjoy the flavours i tasted in the blend and suspect a Double Ligero in a different vitola might be more enjoyable smoke. I think the Chiselito design is a bit of a gimmick and adds little to the experience.

Strong and full bodied smoke but somewhat one dimensional in my opinion. Ive smoked several of these and all have been well constructed and had excellent draw.
