De Olifant Corona Cigar - 1 Single

What a great little cigar! Walking the dog and before and after it was lovely all the way through, Good draw, plenty of smoke and a bargain for every minute it lasted. Easily high up on the list for an everyday cigar, no mad treat but Ill be getting more for an everyday puff, good to see you can still find something easily affordable.

Hiram & Solomon Fellow Craft Toro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 23 June, 2021
Hello, not inexpensive at all, but a lovely once a week treat, a really lovely cigar! Ive yet to have a problem with a Hiram and Solomon and this was the same, cut great, toasted without issue and what a great smoke, lots of it and a soothing flavour; strong , full of flavours Im no good at describing (Im no wine taster and dont have the depth to say: cedar, hazelnut etc. ) Leave it to say Ill be buying more, at the price not an everyday smoke but I can find a once a week excuse (dogs birthday ? new socks?) to buy one, or three. It would get a five but for my lack of experience that there might be better out there.

Jose L Piedra Cazadores Cigar - 1 Single

A lovely cigar, especially at this price, lasted me about 1 1/2 hours before, during and after walking our dog. Good flavour, reminds me of a good Cuban but a slightly lighter taste, Im not good at flavour notes but this sat well with me. No burn issues, a good relaxing long smoke, more smoke than the flavour on the lip would suggest, no harshness at all. Ill be buying more of these.

Revor Plug (Formerly Dark Fruit & Charred Oak) Pipe Tobacco 50g Pouch
Date Added: Tuesday 22 June, 2021
As described, a top-notch smoke! I can understand how this could be difficult to keep lit for someone new to pipe smoking but I wouldn’t really recommend it to those people. For those who like this sort of thing (like me) great volumes of citrusy, woody smoke, and boy is it powerful, you may need a little lie down after a bowl of this.

Mitchellero Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 21 June, 2021
I have to agree with PeterÂ’s review here. I wholeheartedly recommend leaving these in your humidor before having a smoke. The flavours are fine after theyÂ’ve settled a bit longer. ItÂ’s not a bad budget smoke, I personally prefer the Novellini, but I like a heavy gauge. I got an hour from this cigar. I got a nice cedar flavour. The con is the longer the cigar, the wrapper seems to be thinner. I had a few cracks in mine on a 69% humidity, whereas my other MitchelleroÂ’s are fab. I love the size, the taste, the length and the price. My one con is the wrapper is stretched too, too thin here. Saying that, what do you expect for four quid? Money does always buy quality, a lot of the time cheapness can result in cheap flavour and bad construction. My view is, go for the Novellini. Maybe I got a bad cigar, it happens. But I still enjoyed this cigar immensely and the price is right. ItÂ’s an even burn, I got a clean cut and good ash that held. Good smoke. 4/5 from me.
