Davidoff Winston Churchill Raconteur Petit Panatela Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 24 February, 2021
I really like this little smoke. It got about 40 minutes off it because I was taking my time. I think if I went a little heavier it would still be more than 20 minutes. Im no aficionado, but I got hints of sugarcane and chocolate coming through the first and second third. The draw was very nice and it produced a really nice, creamy smoke. I will be buying these again as a morning cigar to go with my coffee without a doubt.

I had an entire cab of 25 a few years back and the best use I could find for it was to use the empty box to put my sewing kit in. Very acidic and tarry flavour and not much else. Little bit of leather tried to sneak out now and then, but it was overpowered by the searing acidic flavours at work. It took me the best part of 3 years to get through all 25, I kept telling myself that theyd get better with age. They didnt. I hung on to the bitter end (bitter being a very appropriate word) and smoked every last one of them and they were all dreadful. I dont buy into the philosophy that you have to spend a fortune to get a decent box of sticks, but in this case you really do get what you pay less for. Box looks nice though. Two stars because as unpleasant as they were they were at least smokable.

Inka Secret Blend Red Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

A real smooth and easy smoke. I did cut and punch and I was left with a real nice draw, a very even burn and a lovely mellow creamy taste. Im not an experienced smoker but a real lovely easy smoke. A very nice smooth aftertaste and a real creamy smoke. I paired mine with a spiced rum and it was a great match. I would definitely recommend and order again.

Jose L Piedra Cazadores Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 22 February, 2021
Lit and burned very well, I think one or two slight touch ups. Nice easy draw. 1/3 a little bland but picked up 2/3. 3/3 some nice strong flavour with a little spice. No harshness at all even on retrohale. The band took a little bit of the (very thin) wrapper with it, but wasnt a huge problem. A good cigar for the money, nice length/guage and was well over an hour of smoking for me. (probably over 1.5 hours but didnt time it) Might be better after a bit of aging? Gonna buy a box of 5 and put 4 away for a while in a tuppador to see how they do. 3.7/5

Montecristo Open Eagle Cigar - 1 Single

Easily the best among the open range. Although I do like the Open regata on occasions, this particular one is a lot better. The cigar generally starts off a little bland but it builds to a brilliant finish. Give it a little time to settle in and Im certain youll enjoy it.
