Por Larranaga Petit Coronas Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 29 July, 2021
I got this in my July Sub Box. Well, the wrapper was ugly. It looked like it was stitched together by Dr Frankenstein. It looked a little dry, but the feel to the touch felt like a cigar kept at 69% hm. So, IÂ’m not a massive smoker of Cubans, so I was excited nonetheless to try it. I gave this cigar a V cut. The lighting was fine. The first draw seemed a little tight which panicked me to begin with. I thought the quality was going to be too dry to get a good draw. After a tad more toasting, my mind settled when the draw became smoother (Not wind tunnel smooth, but just a nice even draw) The flavour was a lovely oak and nutty taste. The burn needed touched up but after a touch up I got 40 mins of even smoke and the ash was a darkish grey. I in all got 1 hour by pacing this smoke. The end really picked up and it was the best of all. It got spicy, stronger and it really picked up on flavour. Spicy oak which was amazing. As I continued into my last 10 mins, the burn became uneven and need a touch up but I didnÂ’t really care so much because I was enjoying the flavour so much.

Gurkha Ghost Shadow - Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 28 July, 2021
HORRIBELieee, TERRIBLE, DISCUSTING THINGS !! Dont buy one ! Please, CGars might run out and I wont be able to get more !! No, seriously this has become my favourite smoke, not cheap by any means but worth every penny in my humble view. Ive been working my way through CGars inventory, different wrappers and regions, lengths and gauges, gave up on the Cubans as without keeping them in the humidor for a month theyre always too tight, dry boxing, zips in the fridge; then I happened on these little guys, wonderful !! The Brick House are a very close 2nd and give a bit more variety in flavours but these are the real deal, perfect to light, give one 10 minutes or so, then walk Dogface then have another half hour when you get back. I used to go for the loner sticks but Ive changed my taste , this Robusto 5 by 52 is perfect for me. I tried this and a few others out of frustration and havent looked back. As said the Brick House and a few others are really nice but this is my personal favourite, maybe not for others. Give one a blast, I did this on a whim and love them, my very first EVER

Beginners Pipe Tobacco and Accessories Lucky Dip Sampler
Date Added: Wednesday 28 July, 2021
Amazing for the price. First time buying and using a pipe and this kit was great. The pipe I received is a nice quality and not overly large but not the easiest to clean, the leather pouch is really high quality and had that lovely new leather smell, the tool is a little stiff but works fine. Only tried one tobacco sample so far and it was absaloutley wonderful. Would absolutely recommend this for anyone starting pipe smoking.

Casa Turrent Origenes San Andres Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 28 July, 2021
This was my mystery cigar from last months subscription box & I wasn’t disappointed. I had no idea of what to expect beyond the size and construction and the aesthetics of the cigar itself. The wrapper was flawless. A real dark cocoa coloured wrapper, it was just beautifully constructed. You could tell a lot of effort has went into the construction of the cigar and it shows. The lighting was one of the best experiences I’ve had. A very even burn with no touch ups at all. I made this cigar last me around an hour and ten by taking it slow and steady. The flavours are medium with a great spice and cedar note with creamy white smoke and ash. The ash held well too. It was one of those cigars I nubbed and didn’t want to end! It was just a lovely relaxing smoke, just shooting the breeze and thinking about nothing but the flavour and experience. This is my first Mexican cigar, so that’s been a real treat. I think I’ll certainly return to this cigar in the future. Thank you for the wonderful choice, Georgina.

Casa Turrent Origenes San Andres Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 28 July, 2021
This has been my favourite of the Orignese series so far, after trying the Cuban and the Nicaraguan. Its got a few dimensions to the flavour; a rich coco depth with a slight sweetness and spice to it. Smokes very well like Ive come to expect from Casa Turrent. Never had a dud. Good size for the price, long lasting, loads of smoke.

Davidoff Winston Churchill Traveller Belicoso Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 26 July, 2021
It’s hard to review this cigar as a stand-alone smoke, without considering where it sits in the Davidoff Dominican range. It’s obviously a larger format than the primeros at the same price, but I think there is a slight compromise for that. It feels like a more serious cigar but it also felt, dare I say, lacking in the usual Davidoff sophistication. It’s a decent hit of nicotine but it’s not as smooth as the primeros or the entreacto. First third left me hoping something would ‘kick in’, second third gave me a couple of lovely hits of cream and spice, which were disappointingly inconsistent and far too brief and the final third teetered on the edge of being hot. Draw and construction were fine, although mine was a tiny bit on the tight side, which I don’t mind I must say. The aroma is fantastic! Personally, I’d go primeros for the money, or spend a few more pennies to get one of the serious Davidoff’s. If the cream and spice ran throughout, this would be amazing, but then I doubt it would cost only ten pounds of your hard earned. Slightly confusing one this, which tends to result in
