Exceptionally good value for money. Excellent construction, perfect draw from the last 6 I've had, decent amount of dense, white smoke, zero corrections needed from both a V or guillotine cut. Flavour profile is fairly simple but satisfying, initially fairly sweet with a touch of chocolate and nut, finish is slightly earthy and quite spicy with black and white pepper. Good winter smoke due to relatively short smoke time in comparison to a robusto.

Straight off the bat when opening up the Regius you get dark chocolate and coffee notes which carry over into the flavour.
The draw was clean and the burn is slow and even.
In terms of strength, it’s a medium to full bodied cigar which can pack a punch but isn’t overpowering like some Cubans I’ve tried.
Burn time lasted about 30 minutes to the second band (where I personally tend to call it a day)
Overall a great smoke for the price and can’t complain.
Best as an evening cigar with a sweet rum.

As a purchase for a discontinued line, this is about Ok. At £8 then I wouldn't have wished to pay more, but it was a good price.It is a nice, easy draw, middle-of-the-road taste that you could smoke while dog walking or fishing. There is nothing really good or bad to say about it except that the construction is not that great, with a distinct soft middle that is very swishy.A cigar you could give away to a friend or beginner, and unless they know their cigars, they wouldn't be disappointed. For me, ? no, I will not be buying anymore

Wow what a smoke this turned out to be! So mild and smooth from the start to finish. Was straight flavour from first puff to last. Very gentle throughout never overwhelming. Great beginner smoke and didn’t want it to end. Great smoke and great ash throughout the whole stick!

Highly disappointing frankly , I chose this as a Christmas day cigar . Had to rely on my perfect draw tool twice just to get a puff out of it , I had leaf shrinkage and tightening from the word go and had to relight twice along the way , definitely won't be buying another ... looking forward to a trusty mitchellero tomorrow
