Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 19 September, 2025
I recently smoked a Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Robusto, and I have to say it really surprised me. Even though it’s a smaller cigar, it feels like a complete experience from start to finish. From the first light, I got this smooth creaminess with a little cedar in the background, very easygoing and classic Cuban in style. As it burned, the flavours stayed light but interesting some floral notes, a touch of nuttiness, and just a little spice here and there. Nothing ever got too strong or harsh, which made it a very relaxing smoke. The draw was spot on and the burn stayed even the whole way through, no touch-ups needed. What I like most is how versatile it is. With it being a mild cigar, I could see enjoying it with a morning coffee just as easily as after dinner. It’s not the longest smoke, but it doesn’t feel rushed either. Overall, the Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Robusto is one of those cigars that proves size doesn’t always matter it’s smooth, classy, and consistently enjoyable. I’d definitely reach for it again when I want something refined but not heavy.

Inka Secret Blend Blue Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 18 September, 2025
The Inka Secret Blend Blue Robusto was an interesting smoke for me, especially as someone still at the early stages of getting to know different regions and blends. Being a Peruvian cigar, it stood out right away since most of my experiences so far have been Cuban or Nicaraguan. On the cold draw, there was a light earthiness and a hint of sweetness, almost like dried fruit. Once lit, the first third opened with smooth, mellow flavors—cedar, toast, and a touch of creaminess. It felt very approachable, which I appreciated. As it developed, I started picking up more herbal notes mixed with nuts, and a little black pepper spice crept in to give it some character. The smoke was medium-bodied overall, not too light but not overpowering either. The construction was decent: the draw was consistent, though the burn line wavered here and there, requiring a minor touch-up. Midway through, there was a slightly bitter edge that came and went, but when it mellowed, the cigar returned to a balance of wood, earth, and soft sweetness. It’s not the most complex cigar I’ve tried, but it offered e

Robert Lewis Wingfield Mixture Pipe Tobacco 50g Tin
Date Added: Thursday 18 September, 2025
I recently purchased the Robert Lewis sampler pack and this is the first one I've tried. Given this smoke I can't wait to try the rest from the range. It's a very smooth and cool smoke with a subtle sweetness. It also has a great aroma.

Kristoff Shade Grown Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 18 September, 2025
This was a great smoke. I like a big ring guage cigar, and this provided 1hr 40 mins of very enjoyable smoking. The draw had a nice resistance (I don't like a really open draw) through the guillotine cut. I didn't get a great deal of smoke from this stick, but the flavours were lovely - sweet and creamy with some hazelnut almost all the way, with a little spice coming in the final third. The construction was excellent and held a long firm ash, while the burn line remained steady throughout with no touch-ups or relighting required. Definitely one I'll keep in stock.

Secrets of the Leaf Sampler - 3 Cigars
Date Added: Wednesday 17 September, 2025
The 1898 cigar is the worst ever. The Other 2 are nice but wow it won't stay lit. Feels like you're smoking air. You need lungs of an Olympic swimmer to get a mouth full of smoke. No flavour what so ever. Avoid this cigar.

Backwoods Authentic (Light Brown) Cigars - Pack of 5
Date Added: Wednesday 17 September, 2025
The Backwoods Authentic cigar is a unique little smoke that really lives up to its name. It’s sweet, aromatic, and gives off a lovely scent that makes it stand out from more traditional cigars. Each one lasts me about 10–15 minutes, so it’s not too long but long enough to relax and enjoy the flavour. For me, these are better as an occasional treat rather than an everyday choice. The sweetness is very pleasant, but it can be a bit much if you had them too often. Still, when you’re in the mood for something different, maybe a casual get-together or a special moment, they really hit the spot. A very enjoyable, slightly rustic smoke that feels more special than its price suggests.
