Mitchellero Sporty Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 21 September, 2025
The Mitchellero Sporty was a pleasant surprise. Its a long, thin (not too thin though) cigar that lasted me around 40 minutes, and I found it to be a really enjoyable smoke. There’s a natural sweetness to it, and while my palate isn’t trained enough to pick apart every flavour, I did notice it changed a bit as I went along, each third had something slightly different going on, which kept it interesting. For the size and the price, I’d say it’s a solid choice, especially if you’re still exploring different cigars and want to try something a little different in shape and profile. It felt like good quality, and I’d happily smoke another one again. A nice, relaxed stick that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the time it gives you.

Brick House Churchill Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 20 September, 2025
This was a game of three thirds! The first third was smooth and full of flavour, but by the time it moved into the second, it became almost too tight to smoke. This really ate into my enjoyment of the cigar, as I has to try so hard to get a draw and keep it burning by puffing like a steam-engine, which heated the thing up and affected the taste. The blockage then burnt through and normal smoking was resumed, but the flavour had been marred by this point. I'd been looking forward to it as well. There's another one in my humidor, so time will tell if this was a one-off problem.

Drew Estate Blackened M81 Maduro Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 20 September, 2025
Was looking forward to trying this cigar. I am most taken by the ease of draw, flavours of leather and caramel, bitterness is beautifully balanced with port. I love the calming nature of a cigar like this, it's rich and balanced, I will definitely smoke this cigar again. I see this as a party cigar, one to be enjoyed with friends.

VegaFina Nicaragua Robusto Tubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 20 September, 2025
Having previously enjoyed the VegaFina Classic Corona, I was eager to try their Nicaraguan robusto. The vibrant, eye-catching orange packaging immediately stood out, and the pre-light aroma suggested a promising smoke. The cigar felt soft in the hand — at first, I took this as a good sign of proper storage, but I quickly discovered it was instead due to a loose construction. After cutting off the cap I was surprised by the lack of resistance in the draw. Even though I had removed my usual amount, the airflow was far too open, leaving me doubtful from the start. Whilst this did help tame the strength of the Nicaraguan tobacco, it came at the cost of body and character. More often than not, I found myself double or even triple-puffing just to coax out any real flavour. The construction flaws became even more apparent as the session went on. The burn line struggled to stay even, despite a careful toast with a jet lighter. Multiple touch-ups were needed, and at one point I had to perform a full re-light. Although there were some positive elements, this is the only cigar I’ve given
