H. Upmann No. 2 Cigar - 1 Single

I recently revisited this cigar only because on a recent trip to Italy I managed to get my hands on two boxes. These cigars have been quite hard to find in recent times, probably due to being No. 1 on CA’s Top 25 list 2022.
After six weeks rest I smoked one of the cigars Ive just bought box date FEB 2022 against some I’ve been aging for a while box date MAR 2013 (I only have a handful left) unsurprisingly there quite different experiences, however the similarities are strong, up to a point!
Both cigars started very well with a sweet almost meaty flavour, strangely the aged cigar had a much more oily feel and appearance to it, with the youthful one a dry appearance in comparison.
As with most Cuban cigars, there’s a hint of herbaceous grassiness and mild spice, turning to woodiness in the second third, these are by no means a strong cigar, but there are enough transitions to keep you interested. Both cigars produced voluminous smoke with a very slight blue hue. The veteran cigar did burn better, the youngster did require the odd correction to keep an even burn.

Out of the wrapper you get a sweet creamy chocolate smell. Before lighting I could taste dark chocolate on the dry draw. The build quality is top notch, the draw is beautiful and smokes to perfection. The flavour is a sweet cream thats full bodied with a hint of spice through the retro inhale. The Ash is white and holds very well, the build is perfect and has no tight spots all the way to the nub. The only downside is I didnt get more. For 4 quid odd a go I should of purchased a box. A must have for any humidor. 10/10

Inka Mixed Bombaso Sampler - 4 Cigars

Mixed feelings about these. Good flavours at points but sometimes uneven burns.
One that I had (punched not cut) even unrolled itself towards the end. Wrapper then the binder slowly.
Cannot really recommend or say theyre bad as this was only one of the pack and they do have a very good price point.
Maybe just not for me compared to others at the same price point.

My favourite cigar, I absolutely loves these.
Nice flavour, well constructed good even burn, holds the ash well and great amount of smoke.
I always keep these in my humidor.
I personally would prefer these over some of the Cubans I have had (personal choice)
Honestly worth having in your humidor.

I really like these, I know they dont require a humidor but I put them in mine.
Great little go to cigar for the money.
Honestly cant fault them, better than some more expensive cigars Ive had.
