Mitchellero Novellini Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 20 May, 2024
I bought this in a four-pack best of Mitchellero and I must say I have been pleased with them all. The Novellini was in my opinion medium to full bodied, burnt evenly and the ash retention was extraordinary - almost to the nub and I only ashed it once - smoke output was fine. The only downside (and this is a personal thing) was the ring gauge, at 60 this is big and just not to my taste but if it is your taste you can?t go far wrong.

I am new to cigar smoking so I?ll describe best I can. I smoked this in my back garden lounging on my patio watching an episode of Star Trek Discovery (not even a Trek fan) and the beauty of a cigar really hit home. An hour or so relaxing with my wife enjoying what I thought was a great cigar whilst watching a programme I didn?t have to think about. Right from the virgin pull this cigar was full of flavour. The 1st third tasted like chocolate which made me anticipating a mint flavour to come through, it didn?t but made the cigar interesting. Into the 2nd third the chocolate remains with what I think is the pepper note getting stronger. Maybe woody and stronger pepper taste coming through into the last third. All through I was loving every single pull. Burn was even, the ash didn?t want to fall off, great! I think. A very memorable smoke, relaxed, not thinking of anything but the experience drinking a medium strength coffee. I personally can?t recommend this cigar enough. If you are new to premium cigars give this one a go, you won?t be disappointed. I didn?t want it to end.

Very pleasant smoke, good construction good burn and nice smoke output. Flavours were nice and creamy I'd put this cigar a mild to medium and a good hour smoke. Will definitely buy more. 👌

Lovely little cigar. Nice oily wrapper when it heated up. Great burn and draw and most importantly tasty flavoured bready smoke. Perfect for a 30 min dog walk in the sun

First off must say I was impressed with the look, feel and overall construction of this stick. Gave it a v-cut and tried the old cold draw, still can?t tease out flavour notes but it was quite pleasant, lol. The draw was easy throughout and the burn was razor sharp. Didn?t have a problem removing both bands and smoked right down to the nub, which is rare for me. Paired it with the Balvenie Caribbean Cask which went well. Definitely will be adding these to my collection.

Real treat of a stick. Well constructed, and the gold leaf is a great touch. Cold draw seemed peppery, nice and loose. Had some difficulty removing the black band but not an issue. Lots of coffee, dark chocolate as expected from a Maduro. Pepper came towards the end. I loved the smoke. Creamy and thick especially in the middle. Definitely one to get again!
