In my humble opinion this is one of the best shade cigars you can smoke from any region. Black label are a hidden gem.

Nice smelling cigar. Smoked via punch cut.
Very easy to light. Burnt well, but quickly lasted 35 minutes
Lots of spice on the lips.
Nice amount of sweet smelling smoke.
I would say this was a medium cigar rather than light to medium as mentioned in the listings.
Sweet and cedar tasting, but slightly acrid on the retrohale. Will try another one.

First pipe in over 10 years, smoked this blend. Mellow smoke, good room note, no complaints from she who must be obeyed. Would recommend

First two thirds of this cigar was total pleasure. The build quality was perfect and the smoke was a plenty and smooth too with a dead straight burn line.
The ash held extremely well only ashing 3 times, that's all the way to the nub.
Final inch towards the nub got a bit spicy for me and I am a very slow pleasure smoker as this cigar in total lasted me 80 minutes until it was laid to rest.
Will try another but this time I will leave it in my humidor for a few months.

First two thirds of this smooth creamy smoke was really enjoyable and with a consistent flavour and burn line and kept the ash fairly well.
Getting into the final third after 75 minutes all was still smooth. After the burn line got to within a few mm of the band I removed it to find a loose wrapper leaf underneath and from then on the smoke just got a lot spicier and not so enjoyable.
Smoked it pretty close to the nub (1hr 45 mins) its just the spice (nicotine) just got a little too much for me.
I will purchase another and keep in the humidor for a few months as this one was only in there for a week or so to see if it improves.
