Sometimes cheap cigars can surprise. This was not the case. I think you get what you pay. This is a budget cigar, very mild taste, and burns really quick. I wouldn't say is bad, but definitely I won't smoke it again.

I usually buy Nostrano del brenta cigars to keep in my humidor (i know they dont require a humidor) for a everyday type cigar.
I like the italian construction and flavour, and have never had a bad one, great little cigars and cheaper than my normal choice.
So thought I would branch out and try these, couldn't place the smell on opening the packet. Well that was until I read the other comments. I agree, pipe tobacco smell, not so much in flavour and taste but definitely in open the pack.
Smoke well, good amount of smoke holds the ash well and a nice flavour, not too spicy or harsh. Definitely worth the money and a try. Think I've added another Italian cigar to my regular purchase.

Smooth Generic cigar with plenty of smoke and held the ash well.
75 minutes total smoking time for me (Slow leisurely smoker).
Smoked to the nub, which for me was the best bit.

As a total newbie, I wasn’t sure what size/quality I needed so after doing the ‘Dollar Bill’ test to check the airtight seal in the Chester Store … I decided this was the one for me ( go on YouTube to see the Dollar Bill test … I used a £5 note) definitely buy the digital hygrometer upgrade as the analogue one is only +/- 5% accuracy… any way, long story short, I outgrew this, but was so pleased with the performance, it’s holds the 70/70 rule perfectly using 69% Boveda packs … I bought another one exactly the same ( + digital hygrometer upgrade) both have been working faultless for 18 months for the first one & 6 months for the later one.

What a lovely smooth smoke which remained consistent all the way to the nub, which for me as a slow smoker took 80 pleasurable minutes.
Plenty of smoke, good ash retention, burnt evenly all the way to the end. Removing all the bands when I got close to them with no issues.
That's how to build a great cigar. Will definitely get some more to add to my humidors.

I disagree with all other comments regarding flavour and strength. This stick was surprisingly medium strength and one dimensional in flavour.
Will not buy again. For this price point you could buy 2 of your favourite, more flavourful sticks.
It’s always interesting to experiment with different cigars, if only to compare them against your favourites.
