Black Label Trading Company Deliverance Porcelain Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 30 August, 2024
Incredible cigar. It's more light to medium than medium but delicious smoke, even burn, developing flavours without ever becoming hot or overbearing, perfect moisture content. Very very nice smoke for lovers of that New World creamy flavour. Honestly for me this beats the Epicure No 2 in terms of flavour and offers the same qualities otherwise at a better price point. I know BLTC is big in the states but we need more love for these over here.

Drew Estate Factory Smokes CT Shade Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

Good construction and draw with plenty of smoke. Smoked at a rain sodden BBQ, and unfortunately, they didn't make it any better. Taste was bland and uni-dimensional, with a bitter back edge. Smoked 2 and have to credit the consistency. Sorry, hate leaving bad/down-beat reviews...

Excellent stick with tasty flavours. Burns smoothly and slowly. Unquestionably a nice one among the cheaper stogies.

CLE Asylum 13 Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

Now I must say this is not for my palate as I typically prefer lighter, creamier, more nutty cigars. However I cannot deny this is an impressive premium cigar. I was delighted by this as It was the first maduro I have smoked. It has an excellent draw, slightly uneven burn but this was probably my error. Strong notes of hot pepper, espresso and dark chocolate make for an intense and delicious smoke. This pairs greatly with a fruity rioja red wine or a warm sweet bourbon.

Davidoff Winston Churchill Traveller Belicoso Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 26 August, 2024
I usually love Davidoff cigars but this one tasted horrible. I agree with the last review, it actually did taste like an ashtray. I hoped it would improve in the second 3rd but it didn't. Maybe I'm too used to the higher end Davidoff blends between £40 and £80, but I have smoked other cigar brands at lower price points like this cigar and some of them were delicious. It had no tasting notes for me other than burnt wood and there was zero pepper or spice on the retrohale. If someone offered me one of these I would have to decline the offer immediately if not sooner.

Lovely cigar for the money. Good construction and even burn. Medium to full in strength. I will definitely be buying more whilst stocks last. Highly recommended and worthy of five stars for value.
