Punch Coronations Tubed Cigar - 1 Single

Looks like my earlier review was based on a duff stick. ;-) Went back, tried `em again - not bad at all. A smooth and pleasant smoke - solid laid back Cuban cigar. Pleasant medium flavour - not spicy. 3/5 - they improve when left in the humi for some time (let`s face it, tubos can be YEARS old depending on where you buy `em from - better let `em have a siesta in the humidor first.) - yep, I like this one.

Hmmm, nothing "bad" about this cigar at all. It lit well, burned very evenly with a good draw and did not heat up. The only thing is there was not as much flavour as I am used to. This one definately needs 6 motnhs minimum in the humidor. I would guess that these would age well if you stored them for a couple of years, but do not smoke these early.

Hmmm, nothing "bad" about this cigar at all. It lit well, burned very evenly with a good draw and did not heat up. The only thing is there was not as much flavour as I am used to. This one definately needs 6 motnhs minimum in the humidor. I would guess that these would age well if you stored them for a couple of years, but do not smoke these early.

Alas, alack, oi vey and thrice woe. I`m stuck between a 2 and a 3 on this one. Went for the two, you might note. I`m not a great tubo fan - if you like ally clad cigars, you may want to give this a three. Nicely made cigar, no doubt, but having lit it up, I thought, "Er, um" and don`t recall thinking much more about it. I may have got a dud, but I don`t recall it having much in the way of taste - rather like smoking one of Mr Punch`s sausages. Poor cousin to an RyJ - as I said, may be that I just got the "last turkey in the shop" but I can`t for the life of me remember anything at all memorable about Punch`s tubed Coronation. May just try another to confirm or deny it.... may just not.
