Jose L Piedra Petit Cetros Cigar - Pack of 5
Date Added: Sunday 29 July, 2012
I've smoked two from a pack of 5 so far. Both had a very tight draw, and burned evenly. This mild/medium cigar smoke gave off quite a pungent smell for the first third, however this subsided later on. Main flavours were grassy a bit woody, with some saltyness and a touch of sweetness. These flavours faded off after halfway through, and the cigar became quite light (as long as it you don't draw on it too often).

H. Upmann Half Corona Cigar - 1 Single

A well constructed stumpy looking cigar, with an excellent draw. Tasted mild and creamy, that got a bit "hot" towards the very end.

Montecristo Especial Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 24 July, 2012
I'm not a huge fan of Monticristo's and these didn't do anything for that opinion. The ash only held for less than half an inch and fell on me at least 3 times. The draw was very hard and the taste is nowhere near that of a Cohiba siglo IV which is a similar size cigar. Rather disappointed for the price of this cigar. It's looks mighty classy though.

Montecristo No. 4 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 22 July, 2012
Generally a nice cigar, above average smoke that lasted about an hour. Draw on the one I had was a bit tight, however it was well constructed and burned evenly. Cigar started off mild, then got spicy and peppery at the mid point. Last third the spice become muted, and some sweetness came through with honey and floral notes developing on the palate. I would have given this 3 & half stars, but rounded it down to 3, because I'm not keen on the spice/peppery notes.

Cohiba Maduro 5 Secretos Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 19 July, 2012
If you enjoy the ritual of preparing and smoking your cigars, then the Maduro 5 Secretos will not disappoint. This truly is a thing of beauty to behold, with a rich, chocolate-coloured wrapper that displays superb totally hand-made construction and a wonderful odour. The cigar toasts easily and produces wonderful quantities of smoke when it's being drawn, but virtually nothing when it's at rest. It has a medium to full body, with pepper being the overriding flavour. The smoke is always smooth, never harsh, but the little Secretos is certainly full-strength, making me feel a little light-headed, but not in an overly unpleasant way. I usually smoke only two thirds of my cigars, but this cigar kept on giving. Burn was a little inconsistent (I've smoked three of my box of 10 so far), but the ash remained firm and stayed in place for almost an inch - and more importantly the flavour stayed delicious throughout the 50 minutes or so they burn for. Not for beginners - the strength is too much - but the Maduro 5 Secretos punches well above its weight. This is a quality cigar and i
