Arturo Fuente Brevas Royale Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 30 May, 2014
In my early teens, a couple of friends and I would sneak into an off-licence and buy some cheap cigars - Hamlet, Henri Winterman's Cafe Creme, you know the sort. At the time we thought we were the bee's knees. Well, this cigar has brought back those heady days. And not in a good way. Construction is excellent. The burn is razor-sharp all the way. I didn't need to touch up with my lighter once. But the flavour? Bland, not exactly harsh, but hardly smooth. Dull. Uninteresting. Never again. My overwhelming impression? I'm sorry to say this, but it just tasted "cheap". I bought some H Upmann half-coronas at the same time I bought these. They were only marginally more expensive, but were a world away in terms of flavour, quality and - most important of all - enjoyment. Sometimes a misspent youth is worth revisiting. Not this time.

A pleasant tropical fruit aroma with hints of hickory nuts. Easy to light and burns even and quite cool, advisable to be smoked slowly. Overall a nice aromatic blend to be enjoyed peacefully - typical for a rainy day scenario. Michael - C.Gars Ltd

A nice aromatic blend, although quite full bodied in flavouring and medium in taste. Great aroma with hints of sweet fruit with spicy undertones. Burns well and can easily be enjoyed peacefully. To get the best smoking experience, it's best to smoke slowly. Michael - C.Gars Ltd

La Aurora Principe Chicos Brown Cigars - Pack of 5
Date Added: Friday 30 May, 2014
This is a great cigarillo! I ordered these with some other small cigars and cigarillos to try out and experiment with, and over a period of time i decided to try one of these, and to my delight; they were delicious. Upon first lighting one, a fine and smooth taste of chocolate and other confectionaries fill the mouth; smoke output is good for what it is and so is the burn time (15 - 20 minutes), as I reached half way through the taste was consistent and did not change. I don't smoke often and only in a social situation with friends at party's; so this was more than ample for me, plus because of a low nicotine content and a medium strength, I did not have the urge to have more and I did not have a nauseating feeling afterwards. Give it a try, it's a nice cigarillo to have once in a while.

Chinchalero Perla Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 29 May, 2014
For the price, perfectly decent. Construction and draw were fine, my palate isn't super developed on cigars yet but it seemed to me there was some definite cream going on in there. At this price, I will definitely be buying more.

Romeo y Julieta Exhibition No. 4 Cigar - 1 Single

Excellent smoke this one. Feeling a tad sorry for myself due to an ongoing condition, I decided to smoke the last of a Robusto sampler I'd picked up from CGars. And boy, did this cigar do the trick. Lashings of thick smoke had me blowing rings bigger than Saturns! There was ample body to the flavour with subtle hints of pepper and cinnamon. Due to not being able to drink alcohol (damn those tablets!) I paired this with a strong Kwonggi Mountain coffee which complimented it brilliantly. There was a nice balance of flavours going on with hints of chocolate and cream but nothing too overwhelming. It did the trick, lightened my mood, and made me realise life ain't so bad after all! And do you know what? I'm feeling a little better too. My quack will put it down to the tablets but I know what really helped - nurse, pass me another one of those R&J's, please!
