West Tampa Tobacco Co. Red Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 05 April, 2025
Very well made, burnt smoothly and evenly with good firm ash throughout. Smoked for 49 minutes. The taste was slightly disappointing, a little harsh and dry. Mouthfeel was dry, no creaminess or leather notes. Fair for the price, but not one I'll hurry back to.

My first new world cigar. I was a little suspicious. Wow. A revelation. Drew beautifully, burned consistently, lovely round flavours, a really rewarding smoke. Looking forward to the Vintage version.

Really enjoyed this. Light, smooth and completely absorbing. A great recommendation from the lady in St James'. New to New world cigars and will be back to try more.

Absolute quality cigar. Bought as a set of Cuban Robustos from. C Gars. Perfect draw and burn with rich mindblowing flavours. A strong after dinner smoke IMHO. The palate is picking up a smorgasbord of coffee and fruity sweetness. Such a well rounded taste. Enjoyed with a sipping rum. A memorable cigar, and thanks to the team at C Gars for presenting so well 🙂

This is an excellent stick. The construction is perfect. Held the ash brilliantly and burnt even throughout. Dark chocolate with slight pepper on the retro hale. For the price this is amazing value. Paired mine with Auchentoshan single malt and went really well together. Lasted an hour.

Definitely a firm draw with this cigar, which can be off putting for me at first. I stuck with it and grew to really enjoy this cigar. I smoked it on a breezy night on holiday - other cigars would have burned away quickly. The breeze had no effect whatsoever on this baby. Paired with an oaky red Rioja followed by a very smooth rum. Lovely rich woody, leathery smoke that I took my time with. Burn was slow and even and I grew to really like it. Recommend you put it down and leave a good minute between draws in the initial phase. Didn’t need any relights. Would say best as an after dinner smoke. Strong earthy and complex. Came as a sampler set of Cuban Robustos from C Gars. My final thought is that this is cigar not to rush. Take your time and the magic will unfold. The last third definitely gets interesting in the spice department and the flavour really develops. Things were getting better where other cigars are getting a bit stale. It’s the best final third in a while. I didn’t want it to end. It has left me intrigued and feeling safe in the knowledge that Cubans are always f
