H. Upmann Half Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 10 June, 2015
Lovely cigar, still quite new to cigars but H Upmann is fast becoming my favourite brand. The cigar lit easily and burned well with an even draw, even more so than the corona junior which was also nice, and a lovely flavour with a slightly coffee-ish aftertaste. Went well with an ale while enjoying the midday sun, seems like very much an anytime, any reason smoke.

Romeo y Julieta Petit Churchill Cigar - 1 Single

Great Little number. Very smooth, easy to draw, and easy to light with bags of smoke. Soft, subtly creamy flavors throughout. Began to burn quite hot towards that last third. Took just under 30 minutes to smoke so would be great during the work day. Easily my favorite RyJ to date. Very similar in taste to the Partagas Serie D No. 6.

Montecristo Especial No. 2 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 09 June, 2015
Enjoyed on a Sunday afternoon after a BBQ. Slow burning, smooth cigar. Plenty of flavour, very well constructed, and easy to light & draw. After tastes of wood, leather, and subtle hints of coffee / cocoa. Would definately buy again as a "staple" smoke.

Oliva Serie V Melanio Gran Reserva Torpedo Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 07 June, 2015
Last summer these were a regular in my monthly orders after I had been searching for a slightly cheaper alternative to my Monte 2/Diplo.2/P2 obsession which was slowly bankrupting me. For whatever reason which I can no longer recall I stopped including them in my orders. Last month for whatever reason I reminded myself I hadn't had one for a long while and I should order one to try and recall why I ever stopped. The cigar looks every bit a premium cigar from the very decorative band to the excellent construction and shine on the wrapper, it looks great! You'd be forgiven for thinking this would be a tight draw from the look and feel of the cigar but its anything but, intact its a very loose draw while the flavours are sweet initially the draw actually left me feeling like no cigar ever has, This cigar will last 60-75 minutes and by the end I'd felt like I'd just smoked 20 cigarettes in quick succession (and I haven't done that in many years, I don't smoke cigarettes anymore). Its the only cigar where the hit from the smoke overpowers the flavour. Though there was something that jus

Inka Secret Blend Blue Bombaso Maduro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 07 June, 2015
This was my first Inka cigar which I decided upon after searching out some "value" cigars for my humidor to bulk up some orders and try something new. Given the price It's fair to say I wasn't overly optimistic, my usual smokes for some time had been Monte 2's, P2's etc. When the cigar arrived I was straight away surprised by its appearance and construction, the quality appeared excellent. The smoke itself was even better, for such a large ring gauge it burnt perfectly, bags and bags of smoke, smooth flavour and an effortless draw. STUNNING! My only gripe would be very occasionally I've found the adhesive from the band can be a little sticky on the wrapper so while its caused no problems I have had to take care once or twice, Not sure if anyone else has had this to be honest its a minor issue with these but I did have a similar issue with the Robusto and that caused me some real problems.

Inka Secret Blend Blue Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 07 June, 2015
Having first tried the Bombaso Azul Blue in the Inka range (which is fantastic) I decided to venture a bit further into the range and my next stop was the Robusto. On first glance I did notice the construction didn't seem to be to the same standard as the Bombaso but it wasn't of any great concern. The cigar had an even burn and smooth draw but the flavour was harsh. About a third of the way into the cigar though I encountered some construction problems which was compounded when I attempted remove the band, the adhesive seemed to have reached the wrapper and tore the cigar further on removal. (I have had a similar but non fatal issues with the band on the Bombaso's) I only bought the one to bulk up an order and to give it a try so I have probably just been unlucky but It will be a while before I try another.
