Joya de Nicaragua Red Short Churchill Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 24 August, 2015
Very different in character to the Robusto. Lots of peppery smoke this time (and sweet hay), typical of the Joya de Nicaragua of times past. Good tobacco flavour with touches of varnished oak. Nice job!

Punch Petit Coronations Tubed Cigar - Box of 25
Date Added: Saturday 22 August, 2015
Not my first cigar but my first big purchase and a very nice cigar it is. The box is well sealed nice presentation very good condition. The cigar is a mellow smooth smoke that lasts between 20 to 40 minutes. I like a cool smoke and this cigar is as cool as you like right up to the band. Very happy with my first significant purchase perhaps a humidor next and then a collection of fine cigars to make the summer evenings in Surrey even more pleasurable. Excellent service from CGars. Thank you for this experience. Regards Darren

Guantanamera Cristales Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 22 August, 2015
Beautiful little cigar that captures the Cuban flavour perfectly and priced incredibly competitively. The downside is that they have a tendency to unravel slightly and that they don't last as long as a hand rolled cigar as they aren't packed as tightly. Nice enough pull and consistent flavours throughout but they just don't look as pretty as there hand rolled brothers so not a great gift or special occasion cigar.

Partagas Petit Coronas Especiales Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 22 August, 2015
A good looking cigar, well made, firm with a tinge of honey aroma and alot of saltyness on the lips pre lighting. Once lit it is extremely peppery and much stronger than anticipated, if not harsh to the palette. The mild aroma of honey is non existent in the actual flavour, which is a little dissapointing. However, the harshness and pepperyness on the palette is still very evident, if not overwhelming. This continues until the end with no real diversion in flavour, other than a little bitterness. In my opinion a very straight forward cigar with little or no complexity and progression. A Courvoisier VS.

Chinchalero Novillo Cigar - 1 Single

I,m relatively new to smoking cigars and have been experimenting with different cigars, this is now the third time I have returned to purchase these, I can honestly say they are my favourite smoke and a quarter of the price of some I have tried. If like me you are relatively new or just want a great smoke at a great price I highly recommend these.

Montecristo Petit Tubos Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 21 August, 2015
The world famous Montecristo Petit Tubos. At first sight the tube is more impressive than the actual cigar. Probably due to it's brown and rather drab looking cigar label. Looking at the cigar I did not feel there was anything to write home about, other than its typical grassy/barn yard smell and it being a well made cigar. Once lit, the story changes. On first impression I am hit with pepper and old leather, with very little trace of the initial barn yard smell I noticed prior to lighting. The draw seems to be very good but the burn is a little thick and somewhat temperamental to start. Half way through everything starts to even out, becoming a little more complex and full bodied while taking on a very obvious nutty flavour, yet still retaining the leathery notes which has now amalgamated with a very subtle peppermint freshness on the tip of the tongue. All in all a very nice cigar, and much more complex than you would initially expect, reminding me of Hennnessy XO.
