I remember trying one of the "old." Spitfires and thought it OK but these are better. Construction, burn and draw all very good. Nice easy going flavours with no throat burn. The ash stayed intact only needing to be removed once despite the blustery conditions. Lasted me around fifteen to twenty minutes which is perfect for cold evenings. Will be buying more.

I found the first half of this cigar a little too spicy for my taste however a few more weeks in the humidor may alter this. The second half was much more enjoyable. Construction, draw and burn were first rate. All in all a good alternative to the Montecristo and H. Uppmann half coronas.

Trinidad Reyes Cigar - 1 Single

I brought this cigar as I have read quite a few reviews and it sounded like a good cigar.
Wow, it didn't disappoint. First of all, on inspection of the cigar it was clearly very well made, and very pretty to look at. It was very well rolled with no seems on show at all. There were a couple of small veins which added to the look of the cigar. And of course the pig tail always makes me smile. Once I cut the cigar I took a good pre draw and straight away the flavours were evident. The flavours are subtle and pleasant.
As soon as the cigar was lit I got a hint of coco and a small amount of nutty flavour. The cigar was very consistent all the way and stayed very well flavoured till the end. To be honest I usually leave a cigar with a bit still to go, however with this cigar I could not put it down and I didn't leave it till I burnt my fingers! Overall the cigar lasted me around 40mins and I only put it down once or twice. It burnt very consistently and didn't need any touch ups.
A big thank you to cgars for yet another great smoke and I will definitely be ordering a box of these

This small cigar 4" x 46 is in my personal opinion a fantastic short full bodied cigar, perfect for this short breaks this cold winter.
In the first part you can find lots of strong leathery notes from the beginning, smooth and creamy full body taste with hints of black pepper.
The second part is mildest in comparison with the first part, more creamy and lots of woody notes and hints of sweet but full flavour white pepper.
In the third part the strength is coming back with spicy black pepper and hints of ginger notes. Creamy and spicy. Lovely combination.
This cigar is getting popular in this cold days, a fresh ginger tea or a slightly peated Stalla dhu Islay whisky is perfect to enhance this spicy flavours, or you can have a lovely sweet Stalla dhu Speyside for a more balanced experience.

Very nice cigar good draw and even burn pleasant smoke nice honey and woody also spicy flavour very nice aroma lasted for 45 minutes great with nice cuppa. bought this cigar to try the honey flavour but there was so much more to this cigar and I would recommend to any one to try one of these i shall be ordering more

The Primo Maduro had a nice deep aroma pre-light with a nice sheen to the wrapper. Excellent light and superb even burn throughout, and a lovely white ash that held well. The first 2 thirds stayed mainly the same with a nice cut grass flavour accompanied with a hint of sweetness. The final third had a surprising peppery spicy kick to finish. Smoking time for a small cigar was a decent 40 mins. An excellent way to relax at the end of a hard day.
