Wow this is really something! Smooth, velvety and cool smoke and packed with flavour. Did not want to end, not one bit of harshness just sweet and deep and luxurious

I wish I could give this 5 stars as the look and taste and smell are great. Unfortunately I had a lot of trouble smoking this one. First cigar of this size I've smoked and had serious tunnelling going on to the point the filler had burned down and the wrapper had dried out and shrunk around the cherry putting out the cigar. This happened quite a few times. I used cutters to cut the cap about halfway down which did make things a lot better but the burn was still quite uneven. Flavours were smooth and chocolaty. For the money It's still a bargain and i will be ordering more to rest for a few months and next time leave out of the humidor for a few hours before smoking to let the wrapper dry out a bit as it was just too oily to burn at the same time as the filler. And I will straight cut the cap from the begining too.

Credo - Two Blade Cutter - 54 Ring Gauge - Red
Date Added: Wednesday 02 September, 2015
First impressions are that the blades are a little loose and the build construction is not the best. However, I have used these to cut various cigars ranging from 38 to 52 ring gauge and the cut is excellent & clean. Great cutters for the money. I just don't think they'll last long.

Independencia 1898 Half Corona Cigar - 1 Single

Great little bargain, it tastes a little clumsy and sour and it did go out twice randomly. If you could puff slower without having to relight then perhaps the sourness would be less pronounced. I have bought a few more to age for a few months to see if the sourness disappears. It was still a very satisfying and enjoyable smoke and at the price it's very good.

Oliva Serie V Belicoso Cigar - 1 Single

Having smoked a number of these now, I feel it is fair to say that each and every one of them has been faultless. The latest that I have smoked was just as good as each and everyone beforehand. The appearance of this cigar is fantastic, a smooth wrapper that looks oily and dark, just by looking at this cigar you know its going to be special. Everyone that I have purchased has cut very cleanly and the pre draw has been fantastic. They toast well and the burn is even throughout, producing masses of thick creamy smoke, each one has held the ash for a good 1.5". Flavour wise(yesterdays smoke)I picked up dark chocolate with no bitterness at all in the first third, in the second third it was more reminiscent of a mocha (so much so it prompted me to order one after I had finished) in the final third the flavour became much more intense a real power house of strong coffee and leather coming through. Perfect. I really do love these cigars, not my number 1 but its on the top 3 and deserves a solid 5 stars.
