Not hugely complex, strong tobacco and earth tastes. Adequate for a thirty-minute dog walk. The major disappointment for me (and I really ought to have known better) is that I expected to smoke robusto-sized cigars. These most certainly are not 50 ring-guage by 5 inches in length. They are under 4 inches and have a ring-guage not too dissimilar to the round Villiger Exports (which, to my unsophisticated palette, are preferable). Please CGARS, describe these as what they are: Petite Coronas (and that's being generous). I know men are supposed to exaggerate when it comes to size, but this was ridiculous...

A light but full flavoured cigar. Even burn, developing tastes as it goes down. I’m not really one for forsaking Cubans, but this is a fine smoke. I enjoyed one last week in Red Lion square with a mint tea while playing chess on one of the outside tables and really felt that Autumn was upon us.

These brilliant cigars are my go to cold weather smoke for the terrace of my club. A good, robust taste, good enough value to offer a box around and short enough as to be smoked and back inside before your fingers get blue. Excellent.

I tried one of these as a birthday treat, but I was left very underwhelmed.
they are beautifully rolled and burn well, it was the flavour that left me cold.
for a full gauged cigar I was hoping for a full flavour but it never changed from start to the finish.
the taste was a bit odd, I tried to work out what it tasted off, but my taste memories just kept reminding me of a what a well cleaned public toilet smells like.
not unpleasant just very clean.........................if that makes any sense.

Well this is my second review on the Acid Atom and i'd forgot how much of a pleasure smoking this wonderful cigar you can get. I truly can get hour and 20 mins of bliss from it. The taste does slightly change to the end but not much and the sweetness remains on your lips to end too. Lovely smoke is produced and a distinctive spicy aroma is left in the air, very even burn never had to re-light or touch up.
I know it won't be to everybody's liking but don't judge it till you've really tried it, give it a chance..

I don't get licorice or leather, but am impressed by the mature, fine quality tobacco flavours of this cigar, which belie it's budget price. I put the strength as mild- medium. Drew well, though uneven burn. The flavours intensify yet leave a pleasant taste on the palate. Into the second third it becomes more complex. Excellent post lunch or supper choice. The nicotine level is not excessive. If one were looking for a day to day smoke, with a good balance of quality, pungency and character, not many could beat this one at the price. Highly recommended.
