Chinchalero Torpeditos Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 05 August, 2017
Not sure why these have only (at the time of me buying the first one) got a 3 star rating. Guessing it is because there are not many reviews so the negative ones have more weight than they deserve. For a less than £4 cigar these are great, I would much rather smoke these as an everyday smoke than a £2/ £3 packet cigar. It had a good draw and lasted around 65 mins. Happily giving it a 5 star (for what it is) I have already received the extras I ordered so I look forward to smoking those soon.

Charatan Panatella Cigar - 1 Single

This is described as 'full flavoured' and yes it was full of subtle (and no harsh) flavour, a very nice smooth smoke that lasted 60 minutes. The ash held well dropping around every 15mins. The burn was fairly consistent, with a couple of adjustments needed throughout the smoke. Will definitely consider these again on a future order. Have given it a 5 as it is very good for the price.

Arturo Fuente Anejo No. 55 Pyramid Cigar - 1 Single

Fantastic cigar. Starts with hints cedar, rich dark chocolate and creamy coffee, nice sweetness from the wrapper. Continues building in richness and very creamy. Construction is perfect draw is perfect and burn is spot on. Probably the best Dominican cigar so far.

Davidoff Primeros Dominican Maduro Cigar - 1 Single

Bought one as a sampler and I have to say that as predominantly a Cuban man, I find that this is comparable and overall, a superb cigar. Robust, rich and bursting with flavour. Excellent draw (punched mine) and a very even burn. Loads of after taste and a thoroughly satisfying smoke over 30 minutes or so. Small genuinely is sometimes beautiful.

Cohiba Siglo I Cigar - 1 Single

Somewhat disappointed with this cigar. I had built it up a little I suppose based on the price and brand name. A moderately tight draw just south of unsmokable. No real taste to speak of although it improved very slightly in the second half. Weak pallid smoke and and uneven, lopsided burn. Pairing with Thatchers Summer Haze cider helped a little and a swig after each draw seemed to help out. Way overpriced for the experience but I'm sure I'll try something else from Cohiba in the near future.

Romeo y Julieta Petit Julietas Cigar - 1 Single

I purchased a couple of these (along with a 10-pack of Partages Cigarillos) about 3 months ago and put them safely in my humidor. I decided to let them 'age' for a while prior to lighting one up. And I feel it was worth the wait. After clipping the end I found a very delightful cigar. Not too heavy on the palate with a subtle blend of chocolate, woody undertones and cool burn makes this an exceptional smoke (I enjoyed this with a rather lovely 18 year old Highland malt) that didn't overpower my taste buds or disappear my drink. About 25-30 minute smoke that was slightly hard on the draw but wasn't eye popping (like some cheaper cigars). The burn was nearly even but the ash held on like a limpet but fell easily when knocked. As the cigar burnt down the draw got easier bur never too hot, and the flavour got slightly more intense, but never overpowering. Overall this is a fantastic smoke that remains fairly level and enjoyable all the way down. And I am about to order more to store for my infrequent smoke. Highly recommended!
