Nikka from the Barrel - 50cl 51.4%
Date Added: Wednesday 11 July, 2018
A very interesting whisky from one of the best New-World whisky brands. Its strong, but not "blow your head off" strong, I certainly wouldnt guess over 50%! Primarily sweet, fruity and floral flavours, with a long salted caramel finish with a touch of vanilla. A drop of water will open this right up to something truly magnificent. Dont tell anyone the price though, as theyll be sure you paid over double!

First of all excellent packaging and very fast delivery, congrats c.gars. Now the cigar for me it was tight in the draw for the first half. Flavour was pleasant but nothing too complex and strength was a solid medium for me. Smoke time close to 45 minutes if you pace yourself. All and all an excellent daily smoke and given the price you cannot go wrong. Hadnt been for the tight draw this would get 5 stars but I suppose there is always next time.

Gold Block (Formerly Caramel & Nuts) Pipe Tobacco 40g Pouch
Date Added: Wednesday 11 July, 2018
I smoked Gold-block for more than 30 years (when is was available in Holland) and enjoyed it every time.... After its demise, I tried several other tobacco's, but in most cases it was like smoking an old mattress...not my cup of tea... Thanx to the Lord, that I can by it by Turmeaus....

Bought one of these as part of my holiday cigar order. Been meaning to try one for a while so thought were better than on holiday in Crete overlooking the sea drinking a Metaxa . First impressions, build looks great spot on construction, cap was a little rough looking but cut perfectly the only thing that lets the look of these down is the slightly budget looking band, but I am not smoking the band so no big deal. Draw was good and flavor was decent for the price. It has some great reviews, some of which are slightly over generous but then it is following last nights Drew Estate Kuba Kuba which is a tough act to follow so maybe I am expecting too much. I would say at under a tenner this cigar is an awesome achievement a very decent smoke and overall construction was excellent. If I buy more it will be with the view of storing them longer term with something with a kick to see if I can impart an added dimension to the flavor. If this was over a tenner it would have got 4 out of five , as it is I think its a no brainer . Fill the humidor for a cheap pleasant smoke and have a pla

Drew Estate Acid Kuba Kuba Cigar - 1 Single (Discontinued)

Having tried the smaller atom several months back and adored its madness I decided to purchase one of these as part of my holiday cigar order. They smell amazing same hippy bong shop smell you get with the atom. The initial sweetness of the cap / wrapper on the lips wasnt as brash as the atom and the whole cigar felt a little more refined and mellow compared to its smaller counterpart. Very enjoyable smoke great construction, draw and burn was perfect. Overall I prefer the Atom for the full force experience and masses of smoke but this definitely has a home in my humidor, it gently imparts its aroma on other less exciting sticks like its trying to encourage them to loosen up and have some fun. Currently my favourite brand.
