La Invicta Nicaraguan Petit Corona Tubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 13 August, 2018
Amazing value and an excellent quality cigar. Well constructed, well packed and firm, starts nutty and light, develops to a medium rich typical Nicaraguan flavour with dark chocolate notes. Slight spiciness at times. Subtle, smooth with occasional sweet notes that keep you interested. A fifty minute smoke. Packed in screw cap tubes but with no cedar lining and the cigars in cellophane - a new one on me. Are the plain cello ones the same quality, I wonder? Ignore the price, a really good cigar, burnt perfectly and left me very impressed.

A powerful cigar bursting with flavours. I would definitely recommend to the more experienced smoker. Strong dark coffee flavours mixed in with woody and earthy notes really make this cigar something else. This has definitely becoman one of my favourites.

Montecristo No. 2 Cigar - Pack of 3
Date Added: Sunday 12 August, 2018
My first time trying the No2, i usually smoke the No3 or 4, this is without doubt the best cuban cigar Ive had to date. Bit pricey buying the pack of 3 but worth every penny when you smoke it. Definitely recommend

Cold draw taste was nice. Lovely draw and nice aroma when burning, typical of Alex Bradley cigar. Nice earthy note with hint of spicey tone. Not an everyday cigar but non the less a relaxing weekend afternoon type of cigar.

NUB by Oliva Maduro 460 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 11 August, 2018
After purchasing this cigar some time ago, it aged in my humidor for 18 months. I decided to give it a smoke during the nice summer months. Tastes in stages: In the first third the taste is mainly of dark cocoa and black pepper. It is incredibly flavoursome, but also very smooth: no bitterness at all. In the second third the dark cocoa is enhanced with a blast of dark coffee along with a good hint of black pepper. The final third consisted of coffee and leathery notes, the cocoa was much milder but the coffee notes were now joined by a leathery taste along with tge ever present black pepper. The cigar was incredibly smooth from first to last puff, despite the small size the cigar lasted for 1 hour 20 minutes. The burn was even throughout, no touchups required. Certainly one for those that enjoy bolder flavours, overall a fantastic smoke that I highly recommend.

Davidoff Winston Churchill Raconteur Petit Panatela Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 11 August, 2018
Tried a smaller Davidoff last year and found it to be quite interesting so decided to try one of these. They are described as being medium/full. I found the cigar to be very light in body with very little flavour. Have to agree with Oliver - disapointing and lacking in personality. Whilst it was even burning the draw was very easy, so much so it smoked like a cigarette and as a result has to go down as the fastest burning handmade I have ever smoked. Therefore despite its modest price it is poor value for money. Taking all things in to account it does not fare well against competitors like Arturo Fuente for instance. As such I cannot recommend this cigar at all.
