It may or may not be true that some tobaccos favour
particular pipes... hmm... but it is true that a tobacco
that tastes wonderful one day can seem bland the
next. A curious phenomenon possibly to do with
biorhythms... maybe?
Whatever the reason I like to write reviews on a good
day - like today. I always enjoy Solani blends but
have put off trying Silver Flake in case I didn’t like it
and got stuck with a 100gm tin. Needn’t have
worried. The flake is folded into a neat clump and
separates easily, smells great, packs and lights
effortlessly and tastes of fine Virginia and Kentucky leaf.
I am on my second bowl this morning and looking
forward to a third. There is no topping that I can detect - just the taste of good pure tobacco. So why is it not a great blend? Hard to say - it is certainly a good smoke but lacks the character that would make it truly remarkable.

Been saving this. Took it to a wedding smoked something else. Took it to Amsterdam get away and didnt smoke it. Now I am smoking it and it was worth the wait, coffee, chocolate rich wood flavour and aroma. Build is good wrapper very dark and enticing. Pre light draw was wood and earth, cut perfect, burnt well went slightly sideways at a 3rd down but rectified easily. Band was cool but a bit homemade looking . Dark, deep and tasty. Wierd fuel taste on the draw when out but not in a bad way. Definitely check this one out for the price it was a very good stick.

Very light draw, although the build quality looked good and the band made it look even better I was extremely unimpressed with it. Slightly harsh lacking in flavor, it is possible that it was built a bit loose and therefore burnt too hot which lead to the lack of flavor. I wouldnt buy another but would not discount it completely as I think it had built issues maybe a different stick would produce much better results

I am an absolute new to cigars but even with limited knowledge and experience I felt truly compelled to comment on this one. I have little experience to be able to make comparisons and therefore make sensible intelligent judgements but I did truly enjoy this cigar. Just felt so right, so good. A good draw, fulfilling without being overpowering, super, and for sure this will become a regular for me!

I’ve had aromatic tobaccos and aromatic pipe tobaccos, I figured I’d try an aromatic cigar.
It was very, very sweet on the lips. Started with a slight hint of coconut, smoked smooth and sweet throughout but to me, it was too sweet. Like smoking a giant sugar puff! I’ve still got the bee and blond to smoke yet and I’m worried the Honey Monster is going to rear it’s fuzzy head?!
Do buy it because, why not? Would probably make a great dessert cigar when there is no dessert but don’t expect amazing things.

Quite a hard draw and not too smokey but it went on and on for a good hour nearly 2! Well rounded taste and worth every penny. Enjoy!
