Its tasteful gold and royal navy band, dark attractive maduro wrapper and overall impressive presentation promise a great experience.
In fact it starts rather blandly with earthy, shallow tones dominating the first third of the cigar. Suddenly however, with a sudden rush, spice and pepper awake and begin to, at first dominate, and then balance the flavours and this becomes a weighty, majestic stick.
Its not harsh but certainly a heavy cigar that rewards patience and paired with a good, sipping Rye encourages melancholy and reflection as the clouds of dense smoke envelop you and tobacco settles into a grounded, even and flavoursome experience.
Not terribly nuanced perhaps but certainly an example of a thoughtful process that results in a great, leisured sit down.
This smoker might prefer mellower and sweeter but at this price point and considering the impressive built and burn its hard to put down and not demand a few more for your humidor moments after you are done and the cigar slowly dies down.

Nice cigar. Well built, even draw. Dry flavours of toast and spices with a slight creamy, lactic finish. Medium body and lasted about 40mins whilst out on a walk

Bought this beauty today!! I have ordered online, but I was passing through London today and fancied a stickso visited the shop. What a wonderful place!! The young lady was very helpful, and punched the cigar for me, and even gave me a good slug of whiskey, purely medicinal of course. The cigar toasted like a dream, great mouth feel, and nice light taste. Very fragrant, and subtle right to the end. I didn’t want it to end, but got a good 40 mins out of it as I strolled through a snowy London. This one is top of my list for my next order. Worth every penny, I can still smell it now!!

Great little Cigar! Wonderful flavours, good draw, 30 mins of pleasure. Recommended I will be buying more!

I bought 2 of these, first I was unimpressed with and so the second I thought Id leave in the humidor for a few months, it was an improvement but rather than being harsh as the first was this was so mild it was a pointless smoke. Construction was ok, tough to light but burned evenly enough after a little persuasion. Wont be rushing back to this one.
