H. Upmann Majestic Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 30 September, 2018
I want to comment on the H Upmann Majestic’s construction. I had 3 in my XIKAR travel case with a medium sized Bovida humidity control pack and smoked my 3rd cigar today, about a month after purchase. The cigar had an inch of ash all the way to the final inch. Easy draw and so easy to smoke outside in the wind that I think is amazing. Compared to the Romeo Y Julieta Petit Coronas that I found got stodgy half way through the cigars, the H Upmann Majestic provides a consistent easy 30-40 minute smoke, with a faultless burn. What is not to love? 😊👍

Gurkha Ghost Shadow - Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 29 September, 2018
One of the most enjoyable cigars I have experienced. Lots... no seriously LOTS of smoke! Mine lit effortlessly, and despite a reasonable breeze it burnt remarkably evenly all the way to the end. Very well wrapped, it was a firm draw in the first third, with an earthy flavour. The middle third however was a delight, with sweeter tones coming through and maybe even a hint of almond. The final third did become slightly more bitter but only in comparison and was still above average all the way to the end. A great smoke that I have reordered already

Luis Martinez Tres Petit Corona - 1 Single

A lovely looking cigar with a velvety feel. The cigar starts mildly with fresh, grassy notes that lingers on the tongue. Towards the second third you get a more complex profile consisting of wood, nut, cream and chocolate with a peppery finish. This carries on into the final third opening up new flavours such as dates. A beautiful tasting cigar which I would have given top marks to if only for one issue. That issue being the wrapper peeling away. It didnt impact the overall session but it was always on the back of my mind as I carefully nursed the cigar to completion. Expect a leisurely 45 minute smoke and enjoy those wonderful flavours. Would I buy again? I sure would. 8.5/10.

Davidoff Winston Churchill Traveller Belicoso Cigar - Tin of 4

Not a large cigar but perfect for 20 mins or so. This cigar is lovely and light yet with a creaminess and slight white pepper that lends a certain richness to it. With voluminous smoke for its size, for the price this is all in all a fantastic non-Cuban cigar. On balance of price and graded as a non-Cuban this thoroughly deserves 5 stars.

Romeo y Julieta Petit Coronas Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 27 September, 2018
My first Romeo Y Julieta cigar so I was excited knowing the history of this famous Havana cigar. It is 23 degrees and a gorgeous blue sky day so I am sat outside on my patio. The first half of this cigar was very pleasant and a joy on my palate. The second half’s texture became soft and I had to relight the cigar twice. Given the choice the Por Larranaga Petit Coronas and H Upmann Majrstic offer better value and better quality of burn.

AVO Classic Uvezian Puritos - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 27 September, 2018
Warm with rich aromas at a medium body. Very flavoursome with hints of sandalwood and fruits. I got a leisurely and pleasant 25 minute smoke out of it. The pull was firmer than the AVO Domaine but that didnt take away from the overall experience. I would highly recommend. Im extremely impressed with the AVO line.
