Cuts like a laser sword. Much much better than any other bling bling cutters.

Romeo y Julieta No. 2 Tubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 04 October, 2018
I am sitting here in the garden under the patio heater with a glass of Johnnie Walker black label and one of these fantastic cigars, both of which I picked up for a steal duty free. I have tried plenty of Cuban cigars now and find myself returning to R and J all the time. Price and time allowing the Churchill and Wide Churchill are sublime. However I have found these no 2 to be the most consistent cigars that suit my taste. I’ve found with a lot of other brands that I’ve had more and more inconsistent ones, some absolutely unsmokeable. These start of very mild but develop just before half way leaving a fantastic spicy mouth. Think I am gonna stick with these from now on. Perfect 45-60 minutes of heaven.

Montecristo Petit Edmundo Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 04 October, 2018
My previous review of the Petit Edmundo was severe! That sensation of trying to draw on a stub of tarry rope was durable. Yet my esteemed follow of Kicas (Kingsbarns Cigar Appreciation Society) was unfazed, he remains a dogged devotee of the Pet Ed. So, thinks I, either Johnny boy has no tastebuds - possible, in view of his unstinting persuit of Italian waitresses, preferably tattooed, preferably named Magda, or the Pet Eds reviewed were simply a bad batch. Johnnys oddities apart, we found ourselves in Davidoffs around midnight in Monte Carlo the other evening, perusing the humidor stock. (If you were thinking of robbing the place, I wouldnt: the night staff look quite ready to repel boarders.) Thats not a public school joke. Nor a reference to Russians. To cut it short, J. chose a Pet Ed. in that relentless way of his, which I ended up smoking for him (to repay him for smoking MY R&J Short Churchill), on practically the same Monaco balcony as the last time. The main difference was that this Pet Ed. was a very fine smoke, with none of the harshness, draw issues, or burn problems repo

Inka Secret Blend Blue Petit Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 03 October, 2018
This is a beautiful looking cigar with a soft silky wrapper. Unfortunately I had major issues in the 1/3rd with the cigar not drawing properly causing minimal smoke output. This resulted in laboured puffing and a worry that it would last throughout. Tastewise it started very mild with a creamy flavour. But again, it was hard to discern the flavours simply because I wasnt getting enough intake. Now this cigar really opened up in the the 2/3rd. The draw improved resulting in beautiful woody, grassy notes with hints of chocolate. Towards the final third I got all of the above with subtle coffee notes with slight peppering. Apart from the beginning I thourougly enjoyed this cigar. A sumptuous 50 minute smoke with a medium strength. I would have easily given this 5 stars of not for that troubled beginning. I will definately be buying more.

Henri Wintermans Tubed Coronas Deluxe Sumatra Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 02 October, 2018
This cigar is quite interesting. It has a number of benefits - 1. Its dry cured so it doesnt need a humidor, though like any dry cured cigar it tastes a bit better IMO after proper humidification. 2. Its pre-cut so it can be smoked anywhere at any time. 3. Its quite a decent ring gauge and length - just shy of a petit corona. It certainly feels like a real cigar rather than a cigarillo like a half corona from Henri Wintermans. 4. It burns well and lights very easily - never had an issue with it burning in strange ways. 5. It comes in a tube despite being sold for less than a fiver, whereas its Cuban competitor Guantanamera is a good few pounds more for a tubos. The tube means it can be stored and protected anywhere. The main con - It tastes like a Henri Winterman i.e. relatively cheap, Dutch tobacco. I happen to like the flavour so its not a con for me, but if you like the flavour of Cuban or Nicaraguan tobacco and just cant stand the Dutch mix of Brazilian and Indonesian leaf it wont be for you. I think this is excellent value for a cigar and it is very useful for

De Olifant Half Corona - Matelieff Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 02 October, 2018
A number of bad choices led to my kitchen smelling of this vile tobacco product, whilst the construction was good, and lighting a dream, the stench of this full aromatic experience is not one I wish to partake in again! Unfortunately I can still smell the unholy stick hours later; both in the kitchen and on my precious little pinkys! I cannot recommend this smoke to anybody, unless you know you like them, steer clear. However this is no reflection on cgars as service was impeccable.
