This is a real treat, I am a big fan of the Specially Selected Robustos, and this carries a lot of its bigger brothers sweetness, along with an impeccable draw and real appeal. I would concur with almost all the positive reviews in terms of flavour, mine was bursting with vanilla, camarmel and as another reviewer mentions, a biscuity taste too. A real pleaser and one I will make sure I am never without. By the way, this one had been in the humidor for about 18months and was very smooth and creamy indeed.

Now my new favourite smoke. Remarkably I got a flavours just as the tasting notes suggested. The floral part in the middle, Violets and Gin made me smile. Medium without harshness, started with warmth and then botanicals developed like a summers day. Will be buying many more.

This came to me as part of the Short and Quick Smokes Sampler. Its a neat little number, good firm construction and plastic wrapped. Not overly dry so smoked directly out of the wrapper. Started sweet and strong, plenty of body and tart tannin and burnt caramel making it a mild/strong but smooth flavour. It may be small but not necessarily a particularly short smoke for a 3 1/2 mini cigar. I easily obtained 30m from it and a strong stable ash stack. This is a small but mighty smoke, not to be rushed but relaxed into and savoured for all the lush vibrant flavour. Room note is sweet and mild and not in any way invasive. Downsides? Yes, left me wanting it to be much longer to have a decent amount of time to enjoy all it had to offer so a 4. VFM is definitely a 5 out of 5.

Great price point for me as Im fairly new, not to cigars, but to collecting/keeping them.
Had this baby in the humidor for a month before taking it with me.
Mexico City Airport after 14 hours from London was the setting.
Beautiful sweet earthy aromas on the nose.
Cool fresh predraw. Great construction although it did need a couple of touch ups.
On the snug side for my liking and the plooms were only available with a couple of of draws at a time.
Started off really spicy and fresh. After the first third lovely smooth , creamy smoke all the way to the end.

As a relatively new cigar smoker who is on a tight budget.Thought I would try one of these and boy I am so glad I did.
Great flavour all the way down to the nub.
Well constructed.
A great burn and no need to relight.
Ash held on well.
A 45 minute smoke.
My pocket money will buy more of these and not Airfix models.
Cannot recommend these enough.

I had a different variety of sizes of this brand cigar I actually bought this from a shop before I found this site. I must say I really enjoyed this cigar. Lasted a good 35 mins but could last longer but I was outside and it was cold. Went down great with a bottle of single malt. I personally enjoyed this cigar, I get all the negative comments, for the price, it’s a good smoke.
