Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchill Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 01 June, 2015
The first noticeable aspect of this cigar is the feel and weight in your hand, it really does have a heavy feel to it in an impressive way. The construction is immaculate, the feel of the cigar is compact and complete with the traditional red and white band, complimented further by the addition of a gold band. The colour is rich and upon lighting, there is an instant taste of oak. The draw is smooth, medium to full bodied and the burn is even. Flavours remain similar throughout, a smooth and creamy flavour providing an elegant and relaxing smoke. The Short Churchill is another excellent option and well worth a try, but the Wide Churchill remains one of my favourite cigars. An excellent addition to any gentleman's collection.

I couldn't fault this one. A really easy smooth smoke, with a creamy taste that lasted around 30 minutes. These will be a regular go-to for me in future.

Romeo y Julieta Churchill Tubed Cigar - 1 Single

Tonight I smoke the Romeo y Julieta Churchill which featured a nice triple cap and a firm even pack however little squishy at the foot other than that construction looks great with a lovely smooth wrapper with hardly any tooth and lovely tight seems the aroma of this stick is a nice honey and dry hay. Wow what a cigar is all I can say from first light, amazing draw just a slight resistance and lots of lovely thick smoke, flavour wise lots of sweet desert like notes such as honey and almost a summer fruit sort of flavour, on the finish a really nice dried hay which is lasting well into the next draw 37 min in still lovely smoke output ash fell off in a solid chunk about an inch at a time which was a shame but other than that great burn line and the smoke is still nice and cool probably due to the size and distance the smoke has to travel. flavour wise slight pepper spice on the draw with a nice toasty coffee note lurking around the main flavours however is still that fruity floral note and the dry hay there's also a slight woody note coming through but it's not a ceder more like an

Rafael Gonzalez Perlas Cigar - Box of 25
Date Added: Sunday 28 December, 2014
These Perlas are really quite deceptive, initially, hints of sweet hay, developing into more complex citrus/cocoa flavours. An even easy draw, with a consistent burn, not a hint of excessive heat towards the end, finally a deep chocolate flavour. All noted by previous reviewers, but in varying degrees, as I have found to my pleasure. I can see why these have been given several awards, and deservedly so! A thoroughly enjoyable 45 minutes taken with a good Columbian coffee.

Ramon Allones Small Club Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 20 December, 2014
Lovely 50 minute smoke, woody and creamy with some pepper down the nose, a real nice smoke. Looked boxed pressed. A real nice flavour, didn't disappoint me at all, went nice with some coffee. Plenty of smoke, stayed consistent all the way down, good burn, I will definitely be getting some more of these.

This is definitely a respectable cigar. However, I believe you have to have an acquired taste to enjoy these cigars... I personally don't enjoy the spiciness and peppery hints this has to offer, but many people think the opposite, its just personal choice I guess...
