Ramon Allones Specially Selected Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 20 October, 2016
I'm a newcomer when it comes to cigars but even I could not help but notice the exquisiteness of this cigar. It burned really well and is a much slower cigar compared to others I've tried; you can easily go a few minutes between draws. Being an amateur I didn't light the cigar well but despite that by rotating whilst drawing the burn evened out! Definitely spicy taste and would recommend it for beginners. Don't forget it's also Cigar Aficionado's No.2 rated smoke of 2015!

Ramon Allones Specially Selected Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 08 October, 2016
Having tried R&J Montecristo and Cohiba (and thoroughly enjoying) I decided to try another Cuban brand. Having read the excellent reviews, I selected the Ramon Allones. What a disappointment. The burn was the worst I have ever known, and I've smoked some really cheap cigars too. Right from the off only one side seemingly wanted to burn. All of the initial experience was ruined by trying to make the adjustments to get a better burn. The flavour was none existent, just a bitter thick smoke more akin to being involved with a serious fire! After around 20 mins I decided to just give up. Maybe I just got unlucky this time, who knows, but I think I'll be giving this brand a miss in future.

Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 Broadleaf Cigar - Tin of 5
Date Added: Thursday 22 September, 2016
Well designed tin, well wrapped in celophane, extemely well rolled, not too tight. Cut the tip and lit.. burns evenly, great sweet/smoke balance, not too hot, ticks over nicely when not drawing from it, gave me a pleasurable 30 mins smoke. Well worth the money. Enjoy..

Romeo y Julieta Petit Julietas Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 04 September, 2016
As a cigar novice, I was very impressed. Smooth, and smoked to the end. Not overpowering and nice flavours. Lasted around 30 minutes. I also bought the Julietas Cigar (not petit) which Im now looking forward to.

Robert Lewis 123 Mixture Pipe Tobacco 50g Tin
Date Added: Friday 19 August, 2016
Being a cigar smoker I was intrigued enough by this tobacco's description to purchase a tin along with a cheap "starter," briar pipe. Unfortunately it didn't taste very much like a cigar whatsoever. However I recently bought myself a Falcon pipe with a meerschaum lined bowl and gave it another try. Well, what a transformation! It still didn't resemble a cigar but there was a lovely sweet taste I'd never before experienced. So much so that I smoked three bowls in succession. I'd certainly recommend this blend to any new pipe smoker or to a cigar smoker wishing to try something different. But do try it in a meerschaum first!

Rafael Gonzalez Perlas Cigar - 1 Single

I really enjoyed this cigar. It had plenty of smoke, burned evenly all the way down and tasted great. I've not smoked any really expensive cigars as yet but this one too me seems like a bargains at this price.
