Romeo y Julieta Churchills Untubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 30 July, 2021
I love this cigar but I’m bitterly disappointed that it has been sent by Cgars with the binder cracked and coming apart. The packaging was fine so it was clearly packed like this. Expected more when paying this much for a nice Churchill.

Regius Connecticut Grandido Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 24 July, 2021
Not cheap, (with UK taxes what is?) but what a nice surprise!! Lit about 20 minutes before I went out to empty Dogface, had a good hours walk and came home to enjoy the rest , with a nice whiskey and a cold Bud, perfect! Quite a mild cigar, Im getting used to a larger ring gauge, a more heavy smoke, but this was lovely, good draw, no issues whatsoever, no wrapper problems after I got her going and touched up the burn, CGars almost never let me down except for some of the Cubans I dont buy anymore. Highly recommended for a nice long puff, mild to the end and a nice, memorable taste on the lip, Ill be keeping a couple in my humidor for days like today. Highly recommended for a nice long walk of the dig, or a good movie on the TV. Cant give it a five but near as damnit.

Regius Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 12 July, 2021
I started looking at cigars during the lockdown, pass the time away with a nice smoke with my whisky. I wanted a cigar that would not be harsh and after reading a couple of reviews I went for Regius Robusto Cigar. Opening the packet I could smell a hint of chocolate. The smoke lasted for 30mins

Regius Connecticut Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 07 July, 2021
This is a great cigar. Im not sure about it tasting like a Cuban, for me its a lot like the Regius Orchant Selection which is a favourite of mine and understandable being the same brand. It lacks a bit of the punch and depth of the Orchant one. Its a mild cigar and smokes quicker than a Cuban of the same size, so less tobacco packed in and less of a nicotine hit. But for the price you cannot go wrong. The only other Connecticut Ive tried was the Brick House one, and its nothing like that one which has a very strong tobacco flavour and not to my taste. I was half expecting it to be similar but its not, I cant quite put my finger on the flavours so nothing of note really. Just a great quality budget cigar. I will buy again.

Robert McConnell Maduro Superb Pipe Tobacco 50g Tin (Discontinued)
Date Added: Wednesday 30 June, 2021
Im a relatively new smoker, and have been subscribed to the pipe tobacco subscription for a few months now. A sample of this was included a month or two back, and this is the first of the ~20 or so blends Ive tried that Ive gone ahead and purchased a full tin of once Ive exhausted my stock. Its a beautiful dark tobacco that smells like a rich christmas pudding in the tin. The smoke itself is mild, particulary at first, and the flavour overall is like sipping on a spiced rum. It does gets a little sharper and spicier as you go. Ive seen other reviews about the internet descriping this one as bland, but I dont agree with that characterisation. I find slowly puffing on this one to be a particular relaxing experiance. Perhaps easy-going would be a better description, and Im glad a sample of this one found its way into the subscription box to establish itself as one of my favourites.
