Rocky Patel Seed to Smoke Shade Toro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 21 November, 2024
This one was the milder Connecticut wrapper version and tomorrow will try the Maduro one so I can compare the two. Smooth smoke with the usual tobacco and woody flavours and hardly any spice and it held the ash for the first 25 minutes over one and a half inch easily. Second third in and it got even smoother with the same flavours. Was nearly an hour until I reached the final third with no burn issues and no touch ups required. Removed the band and smoked this thing to the nub and it lasted me (slow pleasure smoker I am) in total 75 minutes. I had this in the humidor for a couple of weeks before smoking it which I think helped a lot. Will buy a couple more and store it for a few months and see.

Ramon Allones Small Club Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 17 November, 2024
Very disappointing. The cigar was so tight that it was almost impossible to draw. I'd taken it with me on a walk so attempted to open it up using one of the implements on my multi-tool which helped ever so slightly, but I had to suck for all I was worth just to keep the thing alight. The little smoke I generated was pleasant, hence a two rather than a one. Ramon Allones is capable of making quality cigars, so why mess them up?

Regius Serie Limitada Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 09 November, 2024
Cigar Review This cigar offers an inviting flavour profile, marked by smooth, nutty notes complemented by sweet cinnamon and a backdrop of cedar. From the first light, it delivers a medium-bodied experience that evolves as the smoking session progresses. The construction is decent, though the burn tends to be slightly uneven, requiring occasional touch-ups. Despite this, the cigar remains enjoyable with no major impact on its overall performance. The ash holds firmly until about the first third, showcasing respectable construction. As the cigar transitions into the second third, the flavours deepen and develop, creating a more dynamic and engaging experience. The combination of spice, wood, and sweetness makes it an excellent choice for a relaxed autumn afternoon. While not perfect in its construction, this cigar?s flavor complexity and smooth progression more than compensate, making it a worthwhile smoke. A satisfying hour-long indulgence. Final score: 8/10. Smoke time: 60 minutes

Rocky Patel Disciple Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

A very well made cigar, which burnt well throughout. Good on the low notes, with hints of earthiness and leather, but not as well balanced on the higher notes as some. I will happily smoke another, but there are others I prefer.
