Room 101 Farce Maduro Robusto Cigar - 1 Single (End of Line)
Date Added: Sunday 05 October, 2025
Room 101 Farce was definitely one of the more unique smokes I’ve had as a beginner. It’s marketed as a complex, medium-to-full-bodied blend, and that complexity really came through. On the first few puffs, I got this interesting mix of earth, pepper, and a subtle sweetness, almost like dried fruit. The flavors shifted quite a bit as it went along, which kept me on my toes. At times, there was cocoa and espresso; other times, more wood and spice. The construction was solid, though I did need one touch-up on the burn. The draw was easy, and the smoke output was thick and satisfying. I can see why people say this cigar has layers—it felt like it kept evolving, which was exciting but also a little challenging for someone new like me. It’s definitely not a one-note cigar, and I think that makes it worth trying if you want to push your palate. The strength built toward the end, with more pepper and richness, but it never got overwhelming. Overall, I enjoyed it, though I’d say it’s better suited for when you’re in the mood to pay attention. Rating: 7/10

Rocky Patel Seed to Smoke Classic Toro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 05 October, 2025
The Rocky Patel Seed to Smoke Classic Toro is a really enjoyable, nice sized cigar that feels top quality from start to finish. It’s well built, burns evenly, and gives off a smooth, balanced flavour that keeps you interested the whole way through. It’s the kind of cigar you can properly relax with, big enough to last a good while without ever feeling heavy or harsh. For what it costs, it’s excellent value for money and easily stands up to cigars that sell for a lot more. A solid, reliable smoke that shows just how good Rocky Patel’s craftsmanship can be.

Romeo y Julieta Mille Fleur Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 02 October, 2025
I received this as part of my subscription. However, I did not have a good experience with this cigar, I had to relight several times and the draw seemed very tight. I tried a recut half way through but this did little to improve the experience. The subscription is a great way to try cigars that you would not normally try and this is one of those cigars, this one will not make my reorder list.

Robert Lewis Wingfield Mixture Pipe Tobacco 50g Tin
Date Added: Thursday 18 September, 2025
I recently purchased the Robert Lewis sampler pack and this is the first one I've tried. Given this smoke I can't wait to try the rest from the range. It's a very smooth and cool smoke with a subtle sweetness. It also has a great aroma.

Ritmeester Royal Dutch Double Filter Red - Pack of 10
Date Added: Friday 12 September, 2025
These are are mild enough and not unpleasant, but for me the filter really takes away from the experience. Like with other filtered cigarillos, you lose a lot of the flavour and body that makes cigars enjoyable, so they end up tasting closer to cigarettes. They do have a couple of positives, they come well presented, they’re consistent, and because they’re filtered and tightly packed, they keep for ages without needing a humidor. They’re useful to have tucked away for convenience, but personally I find them a bit flat. If you just want something mild and easy with no upkeep, they’ll do the job. But if you actually want that fuller cigar taste, I’d say skip the filters altogether.

Romeo y Julieta Short Churchill Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 07 September, 2025
My first Romeo y Julieta. It was a pleasant smoke although muted by being slightly over humidified, due to the amount of rain we have had recently. It was extremely smooth from start to finish with a savoury roasted nut flavour and occasional background sweetness. I will have to order another and make sure to dry box it next time!
