Quai d Orsay No. 52 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 01 August, 2024
I hate complaining and most times put up with it but I bought two of these yesterday and not even ten minutes in with a few puffs (that were incredibly difficult) it began unravelling from the lit end. I know it's hit n miss with hand rolled cigars but it's a pisser when it happens.

Quai d Orsay No. 50 Cigar - 1 Single

This is my first ever cigar. So take this review on that basis. It seemed to light easy enough, and was even to start with. It was a smooth nutty taste and the smile had no harshness in the first 1/3.as it progressed, I had trouble keeping it lit (could have been my lack of experience), and it turned bitter. So bitter that by the last 3rd I had to stop. It was enjoyable in that first 3rs and an easy first cigar to try. I may get it again, but will probably look for something sweeter.

Quorum Classic Churchill Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 23 June, 2024
Really enjoyed it. Very nice flavours. Nicer than the Maduro version which I wasn't too keen on. The ash wasn't perfect and it did burn slightly uneven at times but with a little touching up here and there it wasn't a problem. Went well with a drop of Southern Comfort. And it's a good price for a Churchill. Will buy again.

Quorum Shade Grown Tres Petite Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 23 March, 2024
For me the shade grown series are my favourite Quorum cigars. I particularly like the tres petit corona because it is slow burning and can last nearly as long as the corona making it very good value. The cigar has decent combustion and burns fairly evenly. Flavour-wise there isn't a lot going on but they are still a satisfying mellow smoke and make a nice change to Cuban cigars. Overall I would definitely recommend this cigar.

Quorum Classic Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

I appreciate that this is a budget cigar, so wasn't expecting the world. However the draw was far too loose for my liking and it just felt a bit odd smoking it. The dry draw was lovely and sweet but it didn't really come alive until the final third. At that point it became nice and smoky and full of flavour. Just a shame I had to smoke 2/3s of it to get there.
