Peterson Irish Flake Pipe Tobacco 50g Tin
Date Added: Thursday 18 February, 2016
Nothing really "Irish" about this, but it is a indistinguishable analog to Rattray's Stirling Flake.Full bodied, flavoursome,a little hard to rub out, folding may be more suitable a method, but a lovely presentation, tasty, and not a bad room note.I suggest a little drying out,but one of those I always come back to,it draws me irresitably.Far better than the Erinmore, which actually WAS Irish, once upon a time, but has lost something with the new manufacturer.A sad loss, the old Erinmore, now a bit too licoricy(is that a word?)for my nostalgic remembrances. This will do nicely, however non Irish it may be!

Punch Coronations Tubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 30 December, 2015
great draw, smooth sweet nutty taste all the way to the band. Light to medium body. Not much nicotine. Only gets four stars as its not very complex and there are much better petit coronas on the market for the same price for example the Juan Lopez petit corona and Cheaper ones like the por larranaga petit corona. The Mrs liked it too an nicked it a few times lol

Partagas Serie D No. 6 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 12 December, 2015
As one of my first dozen smokes it was definitely a short 30 minute experience as I was smoking on a cold, windy and slightly rainy lunch time. The wrapper had minimal veins and had a green tint in places. I found that the cut even below the shoulder resulted in the wrapper slightly unravelling nearer the end. It didn't leave an unpleasant after taste like I have experienced form other cigars so I think it would make a great short lunch time break. Lots of creamy smoke and easy draw, which was a real finger burner nearer the end. However, for me it wasn't really the cigar I was looking for. As for a £20 per hour smoke I have had a similar pleasant experience from cheaper cigars of this size
