This came as part of my monthly subscription and what a treat it was. After having a fairly poorly built cigar the day before this was an excellent change of pace as the construction is impeccable with a nice box pressed shape. It has a beautiful chocolate wrapper and a perfect draw to suite. Very pleasant spicy taste throughout though it did get slightly bitter in the final third.If you are a fan of the Rocky Patel vintage 1990 then i would say this is definitely one you will enjoy. I will be coming back and ordering a few more of these in the future.

Partagas Serie D No. 6 Cigar - 1 Single

I dont think this cigar is short enough personally. Who has time to take three puffs on a cigar these days? When I sit down to enjoy a fine hand-made Havana cigar I only want it to last 3 minutes. After all, cigars are not meant for savouring when you have a bit of time, theyre meant for a quick fix on a 5 minute break. Other than that the flavours are okay. Very basic Partagás core profile of wood and pepper but with a hint of dry bitterness that makes it special. I sure am glad Habanos S.A. completely got rid of great classics such as the Partagás Series du Connoisseur, Punch Royal Selections, El Rey del Mundo Tainos, Bolivar Coronas Gigantes and Coronas Extra etc for a vast array of thoroughly mediocre nubs such as this.

My new favourite smoke, the construction is perfect and the wrapper very pleasing to feel and look at. I enjoyed this in the evening with a coffee and a big smile from the first draw. Great burn and easy draw, the flavours were consistent throughout and will be buying a box to put away.

Wow, I might stop buying cubans, dark chocolate with enough spice to keep it interesting. Only 4 stars from me however, a slightly uneven burn, and slightly bitter in the last third, but that was probably due to me smoking too fast because it was so delicious. I will buy more to see if aging can get it the 5th star.

Very smooth medium smoke, creamy with a touch of sweetness. Wood, vanilla style first two thirds developing in toffee, treacle type flavours in the final. Really solid, consistent and attractive stick. Highly recommend.
