Bare minimum humidor, pro: looks good, light weight, cedar smell not too strong (ie not overwhelming) con: lid seal is poor, losses moisture very fast, divider made of cheap material. Better off with an adorini
Just had my first one of these. Bought them for a treat for myself on moving house. Really nice smoke, lights well nice woody and mellow taste. Really good down to the end. Got a bit sweeter towards the end but no harshness. Will enjoy smoking the rest of them. Had a nice Rioja with it.
As my first Peterson tobacco that Ive tried,I must say that its perfect. I may be a bit biased in saying that due to me thinking it smells exactly how Gauntleys in Nottingham smells, which is idyllic. Its something I can smoke around my family without them thinking its harsh and rank.
I’ve been putting off buying this blend (Royal Yacht) for some time as I’m generally not a fan of straight Va’s. I made a mistake in that! This is great smoke, I can’t place the topping but it’s mild and complements the tobacco perfectly. It’s no wonder this has a keen following as I cannot really find fault in it. I’m a bit of a puffer but I got no bite from this and even smoked like I do was left with just dry ash in the bowl. At some point I’ll get some more to cellar as I think age will only make it better.
The usual great service and communication from CGars, thanks guys.
I can’t speak for the original Dunhill Rolls but this is a delicious. Not too strong on the pepper but big on the fruity flavour one expects from a good VaPer. It’s replaced Cabbies as my go-to VaPer and although I’ll still try others this will always have a place in my cellar. I was going to give it four stars but to be honest it’s a five.
