First time I've tried some from Olivia. This cigar was very complex and strong with a chocolate brown oily wrapper. Started off slow and not much to taste but then the pepper kicked in along with the smooth chocolate flavours and mellowed out towards the last third with some creaminess. Make sure you have something to eat before hand. It gave me abit of a light head. I enjoyed this cigar very much but it wasn't for me. If you like medium to full cigars then this is for you.

Oliva Orchant Seleccion Skinny Cigar - 1 Single

I ordered up various selection packs to restock the humidor after a cigar hiatus of a couple of years, included in which was this little beauty. After resting for a couple of days in the humidor I poured myself a generous measure of a Bruichladdich virgin cask edition and settled down in the garden for a little relaxation. First impressions were good, the construction was excellent and the cigar just looked good. It cut well and lit easily. I always found cigars to be as subjective as whisky when reviewing, but for what it is worth this is my tuppence worth......
Initially the cold draw I found to be quite astringent, warming quickly to dry toast and well worn leather as the first third progressed, once it warmed and progressed through the second third it mellowed dramatically, transitioning to a beautiful rich tobacco flavour underlayed with honeyed melon or pineapple, coffee and the barest hint of a pleasant spice (perhaps a little white pepper?). These are a sublime smoke. I found mine quite easy going but not lacking in flavour. These will be regulars in my collection.

I enjoyed this cigar, leather was certainly the most prominent flavour for me. In the second third I did get small choc and some coffee. I wish that lasted longer but it was mostly leather. Not my favourite but I enjoyed the smoke. I have 2 more so will leave them longer. Minimal strength which is good as I'm a lightweight and have 2 - 3 cigars a year when the mood takes me. Nicaraguan tobacco is my preference so far to be honest. Looking forward to trying the V I have resting up. Can see why these are top rated. Only had to relight once bt that was probably me though. Found 1 toke every 30 second was good.

A lovely cigar and I can safely say I shall be adding this to my top 10 list. Lots of sweetness with chocolate and coffee flavours along with some spiciness. Very creamy too. Simply exquisite.

Today I am sampling the Chubby guy of the selection which is exactly his name, Oliva Chubby with 4” length x 60 ring gauge. A very popular size in the UK.
We tried to make this cigar especially for all the Havana smokers; Even if they are constructed in Nicaragua you will find them very close to the Cuban Palate.
The presentation is lovely, boxed in 10’ with a nice construction composed by Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper as the Oliva V Melanio series, the most exclusive and selected line made by Oliva, and Nicaraguan binder and fillers.
I would like to advise our customers to use a big blade cutter, something shorter than 56-60 ring blade can damage the cigar.
This Chubby begins very sweet, woody with a few notes of white pepper on the palate.
The cigar is leaving a very rich medium strength sweet smoke which reminds me of a
