Oliva Serie G Maduro Belicoso Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 28 May, 2018
This is my favourite cigar. Hands down the most enjoyable smoke Ive had in the short time Ive been smoking cigars. It is immaculately built, burns perfectly and draws beautifully. Admittedly Im by no means an aficionado but smoking this little beauty was the first time I could really pick out some flavour. Nice earthy notes on the draw, bit of spice on the retro and finishing with a lovely pepper taste on the lips. This was the first time I tried a quality Maduro wrapped cigar and Im a fan. Ive had a few darker smokes since but this little belicoso is the one that started it all. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to try something new.

Just enjoyed one of these with a nice cold IPA, it was an excellent complement. Nice light-medium flavours, decent strength, and lots of smoke. Im an amateur cigar smoker but I could taste chocolate for the first half an inch or so, after that just a pleasant tobacco taste with hints of spice. Ill stop trying to describe it now before I embarrass myself; suffice it to say that I enjoyed this one a lot and Ill be ordering more!

Oliva Serie V Belicoso Cigar - 1 Single

Oliva are a great Nicaraguan cigar(my favourite) and this Oliva V Belicosos is on my top 3 New World Smokes. I’ve smoked tens of these and surprisingly I have never written a review before. Recently these beauties was on Cigar Aficionados top cigars of 2017 and not surprisingly so. Generally a great burn with only a few minor unevenness, which often straightens self out. The flavours are delicious full off sweetness, pairs well with a coffee after a meal I find... being a full body hits you with a punch feeling relaxed. Just what is needed after a hearty meal. I can’t express more with all the other reviews on how of a cracker this cigar is. Looking for a 45 minute smoke here’s a recommendation!

It was late and it had been a long drive down to the Pyrenees to our lodge deep in the mountains. After getting the fire going, our ever faithful Esse wood burner and cooker combined ( the make was used by Shackleton on his Arctic expedition) checking the gas and generator for our lighting we wandered down the mountain through the pines to the village of Prades to eat. Unlike the U.K. the French are civilized and one can eat superb food and then retire to the bar, have a drink and smoke. A polite enquiry to other guest if they objected to by smoking a cigar, which drew gentle chuckles, I lit the Olivia. This is a true cigar, a fine cigar. The band is old school, elegant in its simplicity. It states " I am style, I have heritage". My French friend dining with us on seeing the Olivia said " mon dieu" and gently shook his hand. His wife watched and took in the smoke as it drifted across the bar, it had a woody, mocha scent, with a touch of paprika, the taste blending well with the neat Pastise 51 on ice. We were after all in southern France, it wouldn't do to drink Ricard! As th

Just put this one down. Pretty nice, good even burn the whole smoke, lasted about 50 mins. Very nice draw, smooth and tasty. Not many distinct flavours other than nice tobacco, but that may just be me. Got a bit tarry towards the last quarter. Great for a beginner like myself, good value, nice taste, even burn. I liked it, but have to recommend the tubed inka secret blend red (these 2 are my first purchase outside of cuba where i picked up the passion), as its just a nicer smoke and cheaper too
