Lit easily. Didnt go out. A consistent smooth smoke throughout until the very end with only a slight peppery taste. I would say this took me an hour to smoke but i am a slow smoker so i would probably guess about 30 - 45 minutes. Will buy again.
Don’t smoke cigars to regularly like I used to but have started to find the time to enjoy them again and thought I would try this out and really enjoyed it. I thought it was smooth through out and the burn was great. I found it woody and a bit of leather at first but it was most enjoyable in the second third where I got coffee and a nice hit of liquorice. I would buy again
Quite simply this is an excellent cigar that knocks some of the more expensive Havana cigars of the same ilk into a cocked hat! Very impressed!
What’s not to like!
I am a big fan of the Oliva brand. But if I’m honest was a bit disappointed with the Maduro robusto. It has a perfect burn and ash holding but found the taste very one dimensional pleasant but not as good as others for example the Oliva aged Cameroon. Or the belicosso. Both are favourites of mine. This is not taking away from the fact this is good cigar But just not as Brilliant as others in the range. and just my opinion.
Creamy, smooth, milky-coffee, and cinnamon notes thanks to the fantastic Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. The smoother cigar of this awarded and rare line of the Oliva Family. David - C.Gars Ltd Cigar Ambassador
