My Father Connecticut Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 06 April, 2025
I visited the Chester branch, exceptional service and made to fell very welcome. Just tried this cigar at home after a little rest in my humidor. What a very suppsing cigar. Well made, with a quite light draw. First few puffs were interesting as I had not tried this brand before. Light white pepper with a very slight sweetness and a light grassy and floral note. Well into the first third the white pepper became a little stronger and the sweetness disappeared. After the half way the cigar really opened up lots of sweetness , light creamy coffee, slight leather notes. The flavour reminded me of a Romeo y Julieta short Churchill from the 90's. The last third was also good returning to the first flavour of the cigar, light grassy profile but with a light leather note. Very enjoyable cigar, delicious.

My Father The Judge Grand Robusto Box Pressed Cigar - 1 Single

Similar affectations to Simon's review on the corona. Very strange cap which almost disintegrated when cut. Usually my favourite and go-to brand, but this was a massive let down. Surprised this cigar has been so massively raved about. Perhaps these have been stored improperly? Cannot recommend.

Expensive but delicious cigar. Took about 3/4 inch to get going but when it did, wow, amazing flavours and perfect draw. Only a four due to high price

Montecristo Open Eagle Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 27 March, 2025
I thought this was very unimpressive for a £50 odd cigar. As one review said, starts off very bland. I gave up after half. I thought the draw was tight and too mild, too smooth and really lacked flavour. Quite disappointed. It was well constructed but burned a little unevenly.

Montecristo Petit Edmundo Cigar - 1 Single

Very well made with perfect draw and burn. Ash lasted a long time and it produced plenty of smoke. Flavour was rich and dark but not too strong, however the last third was fairly hot. Overall a very enjoyable smoke

Mitchellero Peru Toro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 08 March, 2025
Aged for 20 months and benefitted greatly from it. Strong Peruvian flavour but mild in overall strength, doesn’t change much if it all throughout but this is actually a benefit, as in the latter stages where cigars usually would become harsh, instead it remained remarkably smooth. The size feels great in hand and is easily a standout amongst the Mitchellero Peru range
