Luis Martinez Tres Petit Corona - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 12 October, 2014
Just had my first one of these and very impressed. Spent the morning at the cinema and then came home, Wife has gone to the in-laws and my daughter occupied with her friends so yes an ideal time for a bit of Sunday relaxation on the garden swing seat with a nice cigar and coffee. I brewed a fresh Vietnam coffee which I made sweet latte style which really did go well with this cigar. The cigar looked great, nice smooth brown wrapper. The cigar toasted up and the journey began, nice consistent smooth flavour which remained throughout the cigar. The notes /flavours didn't really change. It did get slightly bitter right at the end but this was not unpleasant. The smoke was 30 minutes and perfect for when you have a small bit of time but don't want to rush a Robusto (which is my favourite) Im defiantly purchasing a few more of these for my Humidor, at less than £4 you cant go wrong with stocking a few!! Hope you enjoy as much as I did.

These are simply delicious. We'll built, burnt evenly and consistent flavour all the way down, didn't notice until the last minute that I was near the band. Had 3 of these in 2 days and all perfect. I've pretty much gone through all cgars budget cigars recently these and the inka blues are fantastic finds

La Invicta Nicaraguan Panetela Cigar - Bundle of 25

A pleasant surprise full of flavour and slow burning for a cigar of this size.I was recently not very happy with the Honduran version but taste is obviously subjective and I prefer Nicaraguan tobacco. At the price these are a good buy.

La Flor Dominicana - Double Ligero Chiselito Cigar - 1 Single

It's nice to see such an unusual shape; the standard parejo/figurado shapes are tried and tested, but innovations such as this are rare. The "Chisel" head resembles a flattened figurado and gives some very interesting effects on the smoke as you rotate the cigar when smoking. It alternates from a thin sheet of smoke across your palate, to a tall column of concentrated favour. The decision to include a double helping of full bodied ligero also makes it a blend to be reckoned with: Rich, powerful and spicy. Highly recommended, especially if you're looking for something a bit different! - Calum, Turmeaus Chester

Sorry that my first review is a bit negative as I find these panatelas harsh and loosely rolled. In their defence they have improved in the humidor after a few days but I wish I had stuck to the far superior La Rica Tubitos, which have dropped in price by TEN POUNDS since my last purchase a month ago.

La Invicta Nicaraguan Robusto Tubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 02 June, 2014
May have been an unlucky cigar but this cigar was one of the worst I have had, it was lightly packed, had a draw with zero resistance (I understand people may like that but not so much for me) slight unravveling near the cap had to relight twice and as mentioned with the light pack the filler seemed to split down the middle and have only half the cigar burning, the rich flavours did redeem it but the other features made it unsmokable and after trying my best to hang on I gave up halfway, I am really hoping that I had a bad cigar as the price is reasonable and the flavours were good as the construction held but it quickly went downhill for me and until I hear enough otherwise I won't be purchasing anymore.
