J. Cortes High Class Dominican Cigar - White - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 26 October, 2020
Im always careful when I cut my cigar, I always make it wet before the cut but this cigar is a bit flacky. Im also a wet smoker so it didnt help much. I wouldnt say its bad I probably found 2/3 times bits in my mouth, still it can upset somebody. Even burn and easy drawn, hold the ash nicely, It has a light medium woody tobacco flavour. Its not bad but bland. It miss body and it has not spicy or peppery taste, its not bitter at all. Somehow it sit beetween a real cigar and a puritos, it give you that cigar taste but it doesnt give the spiciness of it which some puritos do. I would recommend this cigar for people who dont smoke regularly, dont like strong flavour and they want stay on budget but there are better option out there. Overall its not bad for the price but nothing to write about it.

Joya de Nicaragua Black Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

Sweet and chocolatey to the taste. Peppery on the lips. 1st third lighter than expected. Not too much smoke. 2nd third less peppery and much more smoke. Very mellow in flavour. Final third remained mellow and smooth and sweetened off again. Smoke remained full. Perfect burn for hour and a half and didn’t need a relight. Will happily buy again.

Joya de Nicaragua Rosalones Reserva Robusto 550 Cigar - 1 Single

A simply beautiful cigar. I’m no expert when it comes to tasting but for me this is a benchmark medium bodied cigar. With creamy notes of dark chocolate and espresso and a touch of spice. Faultless Nicaraguan construction rounds out a great value cigar.

Jose L Piedra Brevas Cigar - 1 Single

A must-have for every humidor. These are unique short filler hand-rolled cigars (and they are packed) like I would expect to find rolled on a farm in Cuba. Now it tastes almost like a Bolivar but heavier and more earthy. I would just like to mention this might be more suited to an experienced cigar smoker as the draw is not easy and the cigar makes you work to get the unique aromas out of it, but it is worth it. I smoke a wide range of cigars and this one is in my top 5 must-have as it is a budget cuban with attitude.

First let me thank JUAN LÓPEZ and (the Cuban people) so much for this unique cigar. medium To full body, the draw, burn, and constrection are amazing. Varied bouquet of Flavors, aromas, and after tastes.. Such as grassy, earthy, walnut, cider, leather, salt, Barley, and creamy smoke. I will make sure keeps a large number of these fancy sticks in my cigar humidors. Thank you so much C.GARS , Michelle Adler for all excellent choices and services. ✨
