The Inka Secret Blend Blue Robusto was an interesting smoke for me, especially as someone still at the early stages of getting to know different regions and blends. Being a Peruvian cigar, it stood out right away since most of my experiences so far have been Cuban or Nicaraguan. On the cold draw, there was a light earthiness and a hint of sweetness, almost like dried fruit. Once lit, the first third opened with smooth, mellow flavors—cedar, toast, and a touch of creaminess. It felt very approachable, which I appreciated.
As it developed, I started picking up more herbal notes mixed with nuts, and a little black pepper spice crept in to give it some character. The smoke was medium-bodied overall, not too light but not overpowering either. The construction was decent: the draw was consistent, though the burn line wavered here and there, requiring a minor touch-up. Midway through, there was a slightly bitter edge that came and went, but when it mellowed, the cigar returned to a balance of wood, earth, and soft sweetness.
