Independencia 1898 Half Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 06 November, 2016
The wrapper was faultless and the stick had a solid feel and construction pre-light. The first 2 thirds were surprisingly sweet and nutty with the final third becoming slightly bitter. Superb white ash and perfect burn led to around 35-40 minutes of good value for money non Cuban experience. I think I do prefer the Cuban cigars but I would recommend this as a really decent smoke on a budget.

Loved it. Its obvious a lot of time and effort went into making these cigars and getting the blend right. Construction is superb, no relights needed and it held the ash for ages. Flavour is good, not sour and not harsh. Took ages to smoke, maybe 45 mins or longer! Burned evenly and looks perfect. People will say in reviews, for the price this is a good cigar. I would say, this is just a really good cigar. Anyway, for less than £7 just get one and try it yourself!

I didn't find it good on lighting it was a struggle not much draw on it I was looking forward to enjoy this cigar but was halfway before the draw got better the experience was sadly ruined didn't think much to the taste. I get better from Cubans but I like to try different blends of cigars so I would say about this cigar been there and done it thank you

Inka Secret Blend Red Bombaso Maduro Cigar - 1 Single

Smoked one of these this morning along with a nice espresso. Have to say, unfortunately, this is definitely not the best nub the UK has to offer as advertised. Certainly not the worst either but has a very 1 dimensional almost bland taste with a very open draw. Took 50mins to smoke and I was hoping it was going to go somewhere but never really took off. The burn was uneven and I had to constantly touch this cigar up. If compared to the Nub Cameroon I smoked last week this is a very disappointing cigar (the Nub Cameroon was lit once had a perfect draw and required no touch ups, Perfect) All in all not terrible but I wouldn't be rushing to smoke another.

Inka Secret Blend Red Tres Petit Corona - 1 Single

I'm not a very experienced smoker and this is my first cigar review, but are my thoughts: Flavour was very good, definitely made me more confident to try stronger cigars. Taste was very sweet and kind of creamy, which reminded me of toast, with occasional hints that were tangy or smokey. The build was very good; well packed, firm and sturdy. The wrapper was in good condition, veiny without surface spots, that didn't tear or rip easily. The only problem, possibly because it was so well-packed, was that it was tight on the draw and difficult to keep lit, but that might be a odd singular cigar or my own inexperience. Overall, a very enjoyable cigar with good flavors, but maybe tight on the draw.

Inka Secret Blend Red Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

I had high hopes for this given many other good reviews and definitely was not disappointed. A fantastically smooth smoke all the way down with good body. It had a nice slight spiciness to it as a well as hints of coffee beans and walnut in the flavour. Delicious. Nice easy draw, burnt evenly all the way down and I did not have to relight at all. I would highly recommend, great value for money and I will be buying again
