I bought this along with the Red. I now understand why the Red is a pound more and has higher reviews. This is not a bad cigar, it is well made, burns well, good draw, didnt need re-lighting, it just has no flavour or character. I may try another in a few months, but at the moment I will stick with cheaper more characterful alternatives. 60/100


I had this after dinner with a Black coffee and a Jamesons Crested Whiskey. I was very impressed! The wrapper was a tad thin with a few cracks, but nothing major to worry about. This lit first time and was an easy draw with the ash staying on until half way along. I would say this was a mild cigar, very mellow, easy smoke. I could have this as an everyday smoke. I smoked it to the nub and wished it was a Churchill! I have to give this 80/100 because it was so enjoyable, just a shame its not priced more competitively.


Lovely smoke, good construction, nice even burn, plenty of creamy smoke. A mild, milk choc flavour. Great value.


I’m new to smoking, so, all those woody/peppery notes, I haven’t quite got them yet. What I will say is this, it was an easy draw, not too tight. The burn was great, nice and even, a good ash as well. All in all, for the price , a fantastic smoke. I will stock up my humidor ( as soon as I get one) with a few of these.

